Episode 6: This is the So-Called Fanservice Episode

LOL they even called it themselves in the title. Yup its obligatory for the beach or fanservice episode to happen. The beach was nice, everyone looked great in their swimsuits. Kuroda had the best one though

Ohhhhhhh love triangle? Even though it is still kind of unknown or rather there has not been enough hints to show that Kuroda has feelings for Bunta but Yuka definitely does. I like it keep it going.

Kuroda showed a little bit of her -dere side. She is usually a cold person with a demanding personality but she showed some cuteness and vulnerability this episode.

I liked this episode. Gotta take a break from the hard work every once in awhile but as you come back to reality the pressure comes back and you wonder where did all the fun go just a few moments ago.

Episode 7

Bunta is having writer's block, and the project is at a point where it can't go forward without his script. Seeing that he isn't the romantic type that he's asking around, and not getting any answers from the grown men. And then the girls acting out the scenes to help out Bunta get to writing. So Bunta goes on a date with Yuka and Yuka totally owns him in the batting cages and the fountain. But in the end, the date helped him write, and that got him to write. That was a solid way to get Yuka to help out Bunta get out of a slump because now it's crunch time and Kuroda is putting him on a lockdown. It will be interesting to see what Bunta comes up with from the date now that he's under the gun.

Episode 7

Hmm....

I like the comedy of it at some parts but other parts felt lackluster. My favorite part for this week's episode would be the short yet cute though between Bunta and Yuka. Very obvious that she likes him. In essence, I think they're trying to bring out the romance tropes from this show.

Episode 7

Meh, this series isn't as good as I thought it would be. I don't know how the VN is, but if it's anything like this, then Romeo Tanaka is slipping....even though he only co-wrote this.

One might come to the conclusion that writing about a subject you know exactly nothing about was - dum dum dum - a bad idea

Lock him in a room under 24/7ish surveillance and force him to come up with ideas? Brilliant! Maybe he'll instead become resentful, tell Kuroda to fuck off then leave the team. That'd be more interesting.

Episode 7: As Always, It's a Different You

I think I know why I am enjoying this show more than I should be. I will admit that it can get bland at times but I'm enjoying it because there is no decent slice of life this season. It's mostly action and fantasy genres. (I'm not feeling Haruchika, and Galko is too short [still enjoyable])

Anyways I liked this episode because there was relationship development between Yuka and Bunta. If only Yuka can be more honest with herself this ship has a chance at sailing. I just love her energy, but she seems a bit childish at times.

I also liked the reenactment of scenes to try and inspire Bunta to make a good scene. Ando's was the best. "What's that pressing up against me?" "It's my di-" XD

Not too bad of an episode. It highlighted how one person falling behind on a project hinders the group as a whole while showing us a good bit of slice of life, funny moments, and Yuka.

I can't really hate this episode, because I was worried it was going to be a lot worse. I was worried Yuka was going to be far more pissy, and consequently make her a character it would be incredibly difficult for me to get behind. Admittedly, she's been a little irritating where her feelings for Bunta are concerned, but it wasn't as overbearing as I thought it would be, and it fits relatively well with her character.

I am a little worried about where they're going with this. If a romance were to occur, I would prefer it would be with Yuka, rather than the incredibly predictable choice of Kuroda. Regardless of how much I like her, I don't need another anime stepping on the feelings of the childhood friend, in favor of the new and exciting option.

Maybe it's because I watch this on the same day as Norn9, but I don't think it's that bad. It's admittedly around average for me, but I think the characters make this anime, rather than the plot, and as I'm sure I've said before, I can wade through crap if it has good characters... Not that I think the plot is that bad.

In any case, I liked this episode. I wish shows would stop flipping the abort switch on confessions, and have the confessee lie about what they meant, but sure... I was a little wary of Ando, due to the BS she pulled before... twice, but I can't not like her character... suspiciously placed glasses case and all. It just makes me think that sure, they can all probably be put into tropes, and they're by no means original, but they've also got their flaws as characters, rather than being cardboard cutouts. So, as much as some things these characters do may frustrate me, I can still appreciate it.

Episode 8

Bunta is in a lockdown as everybody has come over to trap Bunta in his room until he is finished. They put measures in place, but they forget about him taking a nap. So they bring out the maid outfits and block all escape routes to get him to get a lot of work done. Seeing that working under pressure is what's expected that Kuroda decided to put this drastic action into motion. So after pulling an all-nighter, Bunta is finally finished. He finished one thing, but that was just the beginning as Kuroda has some big plans in mind. That was overly dramatic there, but it did serve to push Bunta over the top.

Lol, he really did get locked down into that room. Wow. I was kind of expecting them to play it out as a joke originally but weird.

The maid outfit gimmick made me face palm a bit since they got a trap in the mix there as well.
About time Bunta finished though. Not bad. I wonder if he realized that kiss (I think it was one) as well?

They show the characters struggling with the development of the game, but at the same time it feels like the game is just developing itself and the characters aren't really doing anything. The game has hardly been shown or described. What exactly are they developing and how? Where did the background art and music come from? How has Kuroda made all the business arrangements for the project?

I completely forgot about this anime since it's apparently a Hulu exclusive.
