Depends on what we are talking about, overall I think censorship is bad; however, I do believe that things should be kept appropriate for the age group viewing.

When a person you like is filterless and about to ruin their carrier, relationship, or make a public ass of themselves.

well even then censorship is a bit...iffy.

I for one think the wiki leaks dude has done right regardless of the lives that have been ruined due to the secrets coming out.

How about never? If you have a problem with something then just don't watch/read it. If you don't like gore or violence, don't watch horror films. If you don't like sex, don't watch sexual films like Fifty Shades of Grey. If you don't like homosexuality don't watch stuff about gay romance.

What about snuff movies? If there really is such a thing (ok, there is the "Faces of Death" series, but didn't some of the so called real deaths turn out to be faked?).

If a man on the street rips out his wanker and faps in front of a woman and a toddler screaming, "Hey bitch you don't like don't look", is that ok then?

There are as many of those that do that aren't in this echo chamber. In the US there are checks and balances for a reason, so no Athenian Democracy.
