Really hope CR gets Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut.

I am afraid Sentai ran off and gave that one to The ANime Network.

I saw it on there, but it excluded the U.S. From what I saw.

That was due to Hulu having an exclusive.

The omission of the U.S. from the regions they listed (especially given that Canada was included) was an early tip off.

Funimation has it.

Also, bad news to non-US users: It looks like Norn9 is another Hulu exclusive.

The Anime Network has Norn9 and two other titles (Girls Beyond the Wasteland, and Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle) available to non-USA:

Hulu tearing it up this season. It wouldn't be a problem if Sentai allowed Hulu to stream the HD versions, or however it works. The quality they give us is painful.

Subscriber only here in the UK and 90% of their catalogue is region locked (even titles to which Sentai does actually hold UK rights are locked for some reason), so you'd have to pay for access to 3 shows, two of which I'm not even remotely interested in.

Quite frankly, Sentai can do one. The fact, Anime Network still exists is insulting, never mind actually giving it exclusive simulcasts. I was look forward to Norn9 as well ...

They can't, Netflix already has it. I think Netflix are even on the production committee.

Funimation expanding into the UK forced Crunchy to step up their game, competition definitely benefited you guys this time around.

Aside from The Anime Network having it available to international users (albeit apparently subscribers only), they also have it available in the US (unlike Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle), which means it definitely isn't a Hulu exclusive.

Whether Norn9 or Girls Beyond the Wasteland could also be on CR remains to be seen.

I expected that was the case. With only 3 shows available for the price of a subscription, the odds of anyone outside the US and Canada paying seems rather low. One can only hope CR also gets the 2 shows that aren't Hulu exclusive, although I'm not holding my breath.

I have to think that the cost to The Anime Network for those additional countries must have been very marginal, but if so, that raises the question of why Sentai wouldn't license them to CR instead, who could more effectively monetize them and thus pay more.

I guess it's getting close to the time where I need to cancel my sub. For the past 4 years I have found at least a 10-12 anime shows per season. The 2015 fall season only 6 and now only 3 for the winter season.

And we need to know this.... why?????? Sounds like crying to me... It can't be helped when other streaming services step up their game to.
