So I leave tabs of anime I am watching open so I don't need to remember which episode I'm watching. This works fine on most sites.

Crunchyroll however has auto play which starts the video playing as soon as the tab loads even if I am not on that tab.

I have tried toggling auto play on the video but whether the icon is grey or orange it still auto plays.

Any idea's how to fix this? It is annoying me quite a lot as I have to quickly swap to each crunchy roll tab when I open my browser to pause videos I am not going to watch at the time.

Why not just keep the shows in your queue and launch them from there rather than from individual tabs? (or is it that you are handpicking episodes and not watching them in order?

Crunchyroll's autoplay feature is just for whether or not you want to automatically start playing the next episode in a series after one episode finishes. There isn't a feature for just opening up an episode page without having the episode start as far as I know.

This isn't for everyone, because

1) not everyone uses Chrome
2) not everyone who does use chrome wants to have to do this everywhere Flash comes up on every site.

Still, It works for me, and I don't mind the extra effort it takes when you actually want to play something. I especially like it because it stops all those annoying Flash ads from auto-starting and making noise everywhere else.

With this setting, when I visit an episode page, there is a puzzle piece that you have to right-click, then select play. It does not autostart.
