Episode 2: Stalker?! Kokona-chan's Close Call

Oh yes Kokona has an alter ego when she goes magical. And what's even better is that she's an Ojou-sama laughing sadist maid. That is freaking hilarious.

Oh Komugi why you gotta be so useless. XD. Jk but it's pretty funny how in the beginning she was just running away from all those monsters and not doing anything.

Man that manager is gonna have to cover for Komugi all the time isn't he? He might as well be the famous idol lol. The poor thing. It'd be hilarious if all the episodes ended that way.

Anyways fun episode, looks like next episode we get blondie into the mix. Looking forward to it.

Can this show get any more crazy? Yes it can when Kokona turning it a magical maid with a sadistic streak!

Too much fun! Looks like we complete our trio next week.

I watched the first episode out of curiosity, and this is just plain fun. I was laughing my ass off at the bullshit explanations for Komugi's new-found powers and their absurd names. I love it!

I just finished the first episode and I gotta say it missed all the good points of the first run.

It was not as charming, energetic and failed to capture the magical satire that permeated the first season of the series.

I will give the second episode a chance. But still.

Welp, Prowl clearly went off the deep end after Kiss Players.

...

...

...

I'm sorry.

*ahem* Anyways, does anyone else think that Miss Blond Bifauxnen (aka Magical Girl #3) and Miss Yo Yo Yo! are related? Because they look almost identical. I thought they were the same person and Yo Yo Yo was a cover, until I noticed Yo Yo Yo's hair looks longer. Yes, I know they both appear to be meeting each other in the ending, but it could have been a trick to throw us off!

honestly I'm thinking magic girl #3 is the Blond .... guy, The one that is acting in all the commercials and tv shows with Kokona.

I don't think I've seen a Magical Trap Girl before.

That's why I said Bifauxnen - #3 is definitely the actor. Bifauxnen is a portmanteau of faux and bishounen, or fake pretty boy. It's a term usually used for girls that dress up in men's clothes and get mistaken for men, or in school settings (especially all girl schools) usually play the male roles in class/club and all the girls have crushes on them even knowing they're a girl. So far outside of character designs you can only really see it in the OP and ED, but you see her in a school uniform as well as the magical girl outfit, and in some angles you can clearly see the outline for breasts.

I don't think they're really trying to hide that the actor is magical girl #3. But at first I thought she was also the "Yo Yo Yo" girl, now I just think they're related.

Episode 2

The focus is now on Kokona, and when she transforms into her magical girl garb, she becomes a completely different person turning into a sadist and a narcissist. There's a stalker on the loose, and it turns out to be none other than Kokona's familiar-to-be in the form of a tanuki. The enemy is a police car monster that Kokona captures, all while Komugi is useless there and late for her part. Well, at least the humor was funny in the first episode, but not so much here. I wasn't expecting much out of this show, and I was merely checking this show out of curiosity. So with that, my curiosity has been fulfilled and to the drop pile this show goes.

I hope you realize that this show is a parody of many genres of anime. It is not meant to be taken seriously AT ALL. I enjoyed the humor in the second episode as well and really enjoy the parody aspects. If you are expecting a serious show you'll be disappointed but as a parody I think it is doing really well.

You're right there but I'm just kind of hoping it's a guy who becomes a magical girl

I think that would be fun, I've seen boyish girls become magical girls plenty. Boy as a magical girl I find more entertaining.

I agree. The best aspect of the show is how it's constantly sending up the tropes of the genre and having fun playing around with them while still staying true to them. It's pretty obvious the show is going for parody. Now, if you don't like that or were expecting a straight up magical girl show then I can see being annoyed and/or disappointed but if at this point it's still shocking you it's probably better you leave now.

I mean asking if you want to see the transformation, showing it for a
40s and then saying it takes .2s... Come on!

I you want to see a boy who transforms into a maho shojo go over to Funimation and watch Is this a Zombie? The MC turns into a magical garmet girl.

That transformation thing is straight out of Space Sheriff Gavan (https://youtu.be/cdhMv5UgcdI )

(and yeah I love Zombie-Desu and Ore-Twin Tails those shows are a huge amount of fun for me)

Space Sherrif I didn't know. Thanks!

How could I forget I Want To Be a Twintail? Funimation has that one too.

Yeah, that Tsukasa girl definitely has a thing for Yuto. Otherwise, she wouldn't of been so excited after meeting and shaking her hand although she was in her magical girl outfit.
