I didn't see anywhere in the article (I might of missed it) where they connect Hilter's passion to the Aryan people and India. Aryan is a term that was used to describe people of noble birth in Indo-Persian ancient times.

This could also be a reason for the admiration possibly

I had the same thought.

It is what it is. He was cruel but he was a good leader. Wasn't good enough since he didn't win the war but his accomplishments were pretty major.

He was charismatic and influential. I wouldn't go so far as to say he was a good guy, but he definitely did some huge things in a very short amount of time. I learned about the Holocaust and still think Hitler was amazing in his own way.

This is pretty much my view of Hitler, he was great in many aspects I would not condone his actions but you can't just push his achievements under the rug.

Y'know, I read the header and actually opened the thread thinking that someone was sampling his speeches in a song, and that was a big novelty hit on some country's radio??

And again, reading Mein Kampf without taking into account the events learned from the war, is rather like college students who read Karl Marx without taking into account the failure of the entire Cold War:
"Gosh, this interesting philosopher person has such bold new ideas, he makes sense, sorta!"

"During the rise of Nazism throughout WWII, India was still ruled under the British Empire," explained Shiv Visvanathan, a political scientist and professor at Jindal Global University in Sonepat, India. "To many independence fighters 70 to 80 years ago, fascism was a counter to British imperialism.

And since India wasn't really that involved with the War, except for their ties to the British, there's not as much of a Jewish population to remind them why Hitler isn't just a "popular expression" or interesting historical footnote at the classic-bookstore.
It's not like Rommel was going to move through New Delhi on his way out of North Africa.

You know, I can't even get mad at this. It's not like Southeast Asia was heavily involved in WW2....

FINALLY someone who knows this. Not to mention, both the term Aryan and the Swastika (which means peace/good will in India - the Nazi's flipped the flag's angle and changed the meaning) BOTH come from India.

Well, the Nazis did steal the word Aryan AND the Swastika from India where they originated, and switched both meanings to suit themselves. Not to mention, Rommel and other Germans trained some Indians to fight against the British (Rule).

Plus, Hitler (Shitler?) stole so many ideas from India which contributed to his overall governship and ideals. Not to mention he also wanted India as an Ally to Germany, as he knew the Indian race to be Caucasian in their features (and sometimes their coloring) and different from the others in their region.

She's so desperate to be white. Someone needs to point out that though she wars contacts and dyes her hair blond, her features are totally and obviously Asian, making her Nazi-obsession even more ridiculous. She's an utterly trashy imbecile. I cannot believe she was allowed to spawn.

I bet she thinks the word Aryan and the Swastika symbol come from Germany as well.

People can sit back and praise other historal dickwads for a few things, like Ghengis Khan and Qin Shi Huang. Hilter isn't off-limits.

Actually, his other generals looked down on "the Bohemian Corporal" who had never made it to officer status, and didn't think he had the military leadership to win the war because of it--But supported his larger overall strategies of getting the country out of the Great Inflation and national-identity malaise by blaming other "enemy" countries for it and taking them over.

There's a LOT of Donald Trump in him ("Sure he's a goofball, but at least he'll do something about the Muslims that shame our country, and keep us from being infected by Mexico!"), and if you support that guy with ugly hair, well, now you know why they supported theirs.
