Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place
I usually like "Green fields" and "blue skies" kinda places but I'm trying to think of places I like going to in Video Games and why.

The entirety of the forest in Ori and The Blind Forest was very nice, namely because of how aesthetically pleasing it all is to look at. The art in that game is beautiful.

I like hidden-away area's.. something that takes me a lot of time and random travel to find. like a random log cabin in the middle of a mountain or a cave behind a waterfall, a sky island. I always aim for the weird locations.

the place that i love hasn't been made into a video game yet... no one has made an open world title set in feudal Japan yet, Yakuza Ishin and Kenzan don't count since they were never localized.

Me, I always preferred finding the illegal farms in Archeage. People get very creative when it comes to hiding them. There was this massive cherry orchard, must have been a fortune to plant the damn thing. I must have harvested 10,000 damn cherries over the course of a couple of hours.

there is one particular spot in Destiny called "The cinders" on venus. That place is probably my favorite sniper perch in the entire shooter genre.

We do have a Gaming forum, so I've moved this there. I like seeing new sorts of questions like this come up.

As mediocre as FF XIII was, it had some of the best scenery. Places like lake bresha were just stunning.
