have you ever experienced being haunted by an anime you recently watched?? you couldn't get it off your mind before you sleep, after you wake up and you keep remembering it every time?! it often happens to me!! it's anime hangover!!! well that's what i call it!

here are the examples:
1) school days - i recently finished this in one night.. and oh men! before i sleep it was bothering me and in the morning it's still my head and the scenes just kept on repeating in my mind!! i'm still brooding over it.. i can't get over its ending and its whole story..

2) death note - it always kept me on my toes! i always think what will L or Light do next? will Light really kill L? maybe they could be friends.. and after i finished death note, it didn't leave me for almost a week..

3) bokura ga ita - when i watched this we didn't have an internet connection then so i had to rent a pc.. anyways, watching 3 to 4 eps is just not enough! you'll only be tormented thinking what will happen next??!! and after i finished the anime, again, i was in a daze thinking why it ended that way (it wasn't really an ending anyway, it's like the anime left me hanging so i kept it for the next few days)

4) kimi ga nozomu eien - even though i didn't finish this anime (it's too depressing for me) this always, always bothered me.. how could all that misfortune happen to an innocent and kind girl!! gaahhhh!!! i already feel pain just thinking about it!

i kinda had the samething with Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, i watched it all the way thru and i couldnt get it out of my head for a couple of days, it was just so unhappy when it ended.

There are some animes that i watch and i just cant wait to watch the next episode of and end up not sleeping much that night.

Quoted for Truth.

My 3 examples would be
1. Elfen Lied
2. Fate/Stay Night
3. Kanon 2006

Those Animes left me depressions for a few days...

Having a life or not doesn't really affect your enjoyment or hatred towards an Anime. I don't get what you mean.
