Yep and my opinion is that those kids parents are failures, they are doomed to obesity and type 2 diabetes. And my faith in humanity sinks ever lower.

I've drank like one or two during high school

Taste like sugar water, with chems.

Haven't drank any since, not going to.

Provided you're intelligent enough to set yourself up for a round of drinking where the more incapacitating effects of alcohol such as drowsiness and perceived loss of coordination are masked (such as having someone else take your keys so you don't convince yourself you're okay to drive when you're not) they can make for good bomb shots. By themselves, however, energy drinks are vile tasting things that I use only to grind through excessively long hours of sustained activity, and even then that's only if I have no alternative source of caffeine.

You know, I feel I've drank enough soda in my younger days, where caffeine and other things like that just don't do a whole hell of a lot for me.

Which has led me to drinking an energy drink on occasion more for taste, which seems a bit odd given the main purpose of a lot of those brands. Although nowadays taste has kind of become a major selling point as well, so who knows.

Meh, as they say everything in moderation, I guess.

Pretty much same experience here, sugars/caffeine have no effect anymore, only reason I drink Coffee is for the taste

I don't understand why parents let their children drink that shit. Fair enough, as an adult you can do whatever you want, but what twelve year old needs more energy?

They are nice to have every now and then and useful for long productive days so I use them fairly often.

However like anything too much of anything is bad for you and should consume in moderation.

IMO you should be at least 18 to buy them considering young kids and lightweights are dropping dead from drinking it.

I used to have a red bull everyday which got me through my work days and lets just say it ended real bad. I ended up having anxiety attacks. Now I stay the hell away even though I really love red bull. There is no way in hell I"d let minors have any, they should be only sold to people 18 or over too big of a risk selling them to kids.

I've never had one. Hearing about the side effects scares me. I'll stick to my occasional cup of coffee.
