Amazon is better for anything you buy that is new, especially if you have prime. Sometimes you can get decent deals on used games from ebay though.

Lemme put it like this, Amazon is a mall and eBay is a flea market. I rather go to the mall (when I have the money) because everything there is new and reliable. Also, you always have that assurance of a warranty. The market is where all the used up things end up at. It might work and it might not. Sometimes you might over pay and sometimes you might actually get a great deal. It's a gamble.

actually both of them are flea markets

there are retailers who will sell on ebay

newegg also sell on ebay.. like amazon.com also sell on amazon

and you have a bunch of users selling their own stuff

where to sell will depend on which sites you want to list your item with after the commission fee

but the largest sites are still Amazon and Ebay

i hate the fees with these sites.. so i use craiglist --unless i can't find a buyer then i'll use them.

but with craiglist you have to deal with hagglers
