I had to look it up, but it took forever for them to put Gunsmith Cats OVA out. A year for three eps.

Damn I also have VHS tapes older than most of you kids.

I say no.
I say you take the average age on who actually pays per month. I say its 16-40+ Pretty much people that can get credit cards or people with spending money
Then again it all depends what kind of show people are watching. To me I seen about 45% of all the shows CR has to offer. the other 55% are shows that I have zero interest in watching, Either too kiddie, or not my type of tea.

But the VHS tech isn't really that old, sure it's died out but not old...

1977-1997, with some things going into 2000's, by 2000 I was burning VCD's instead of tapes.

Generally, people younger than 20's don't have money, and are therefore more likely to be active on whatever sites they're pirating from, and people older than that have shit to do and don't have the time to be active on forums. I'm not even 30 yet and I have trouble getting on here as much as I'd like to -- I can only imagine if I were married, or had kids, or a demanding job, or friends, or whatever it is that eats up the time of people-with-shit-to-do.

Even so, there's still a lot of 30+ here, and I feel like I've been seeing more under-20's too. I'd be pretty sure that 20's is the biggest group on the forums, but I've seen all ages above 14-ish pretty well represented. That said, 20's/30's is probably a majority share -- you get much older than that, and you didn't really grow up with internet as a social community. You're more likely to go analog for your social functions, which, I guess (or so I've heard), is, like, talking? Like, face-to-face? Or something like that. Fucking geezers and their outdated social norms.

If by 90s child you mean people who were born in the 90s, I suppose it's true.

I and many others used VHS way into 2003 when people started using DVD. VCD's never took of over here

I think people in the 2000s just aren't old enough yet.. so they currently just pirate.

The more I look around, the more I see people in their 20s. There are, of course, 17, 18, 19-yr-olds, so that puts most users in the 90s era. Yes, many people are in their 30s and 40s, but they aren't the majority.

So, is CR primarily for the 90s child? Or do you think it has potential for a broader audience (outside of pure otaku land, I mean)?
(Edit: Yes, sort of silly question, but I just wanted to start a discussion on the topic of 90s child and CR, so fire away.)

Thank you for reminding me of how old I am.
I will like a time machine to be a kid again
