I would be against It, last thing I need is another $10 a month bill. Granted it's not much but after 4-5 they add up.

Plus CR really isn't that compeditivly priced. There content quality has also seemingly gone down when you compare it to other competitors (not saying it's bad just not great).

Plus last month Funimation had a promo going on $25 for 1 years membership and a $20 gift card for their store. As a anime collector that's a great deal. I didn't jump on it tho as I felt it would be a betrayal on CR.

I just don't see CR taking Funimation out of the market. If it was to happen it would help CR for the short term but damage the western anime market as a whole. Funimation has a lot more lure as a company that can mass market your products in ways CR can not. They also sell massive amounts of anime and are arguably the largest anime distributor of anime in the US market.

I'm not talking down on CR tho I love this site and Funimation has a whole lot going wrong with it. I just feel Funimation benefits from CR's existence and so does the western anime industry as a whole.

If there is more content for the added price, sure why not. Though please keep some discount on the 12 month subscription.

I think they should. id feel a lot better. they could snag up better anime and run Funimation out of business. maybe they could start developing their own material. now that would transcend anybody else's desire to even want to start a streaming business

Yeah no. Has much has I love CR. Fuck no to that. I love my dubs. I rather no be forced to pay Aniplex overprices. I also don't want CR to have monopoly over anime over here. When is monopoly ever been a good thing?

What have you done? Spoken about that which shouldn't be spoken of... Its all good I like dub as well granted I don't watch it a lot any more but when given the choice between sub and dub I pretty much always go dub unless I originally seen the series subbed.

As others have said, if they increased some anime and used the extra $3 from subscribers to use for the forums and everything as well, I wouldn't mind.

on illegal sites there is HTML 5 in 1080p and when they have flash (instead of HTML5), you can preload vids, so you can have multiple tabs open loading the vids. You can watch one episode while loading the other and so on.

CR loads for a bit then hits a stop

CR's player is lagging behind

I have to say $7 is a great deal for the service Crunchyroll provides. Even at $10 I think it would still be fair. I'm still a rather frugal person though. It wouldn't matter to me if I could round out the anime I'm interested in that's coming out with just Crunchyroll, but that doesn't seem like a realistic option at this point. I also tend to wait until a season is over to watch a show. If the price was raised much I would probably end up just subscribing once every few months.

I would suggest if they're looking into higher prices to just have greater premium options and collect feedback.

Well, even with a $10 raise, it's still a great deal seeing that it only represents a ~$1 increase per month on a subscription. It's still quite an amazing deal seeing that ~$6 a month is a bargain with the optimal viewing experience (and the ultimate level just gives you perks that have nothing to do with exclusive access or higher quality streaming). But the bigger issue here is needing all of these subscriptions to watch everything seeing that Netflix and Hulu are starting to get into the exclusive business for anime, and those places are not the first places to go for that.
