Where would you rather live?
Pick ONE

Castle

Mansion

@ potnet, it got closed.

Tbh this was done before but I'd pick castle, one that has no electricity and is in the middle of nowhere.

Depends of course on the particular castle and mansion but generally I'm more inclined to go mansion.

That is a palace, not a castle. Castle means built for defense, very few windows only arrow slits. Palace built to impress others with wealth therefore many windows and all the possible comforts of the time.

Those are the sort of homes that will enslave you between upkeep and expenses, but if we're just imagining none of that matters I'll go with the palace in your picture.

I have gotten to spend the night in a castle as well as visit them before!

Staying the night in a castle is actually really easy! It is called Jugendherberge. Here is an example. http://leibertingen-wildenstein.jugendherberge-bw.de/de-DE/Portraet. These castles are very minimalistic and are generally there for the young kids (die Jungen). The castles run around $40 a night (€20-30). If you ever go to Germany try it out for a night!

Edit: I would like to live in a castle.

Gotta go with mansion, they have indoor plumbing.

I'd rather live in a mansion, though living in a castle would be an awesome experience.
