I'm surprised there was no thread for this. Discuss it here.

As we have come to know Obama, it was just a lot of hot air. I was wondering if he was actually delusional to the many of the problems he directly caused (Iran, SYRIA, the division of politics in the american (which he admitted is now worse than when he came in), the healthcare debacle, etc.) or if was just straight lying through his teeth. The amount of hypocrisy and ridiculousness in the speech was is too much to count. The image blow sums up Obama's words on the middle east and the state of our military. When Obama said we are stronger and safer than ever, this how all the Joints Chiefs looked during that statement because they know that is not true at all.

And lol, in 2012 he said al qaeda was on the run and was about to be defeated but now he said that al qaeda and ISIS are direct threats to our national security. Weird. And don't get me started on the political correctness stuff.

He's good at talking, but I wonder if he actually knows the problems facing America today. The only things I agreed with are the emphasis on medical research and the environmental/green energy stuff.

South Carolina governor gave a good response back.

I think the GOP did a terrible decision when they picked Nimrata Haley to give their response.

Well Mr. Brew, looks like we disagree with each other politically. I found myself agreeing with virtually everything Obama was speaking about with the exception of the Trans Pacific Partnership comment. Additionally, he did not say that our military is stronger than it has ever been (or at least if he did, I didn't hear it and he didn't use the word "stronger" according to the speech transcript), he said that our military is still easily the strongest in the world and we spend more on our military than any other country. That is true.

I thought it was good.

Liked that the media gave SOME air time to Mr. Sanders.

Oh, and I love the smile Nikki Haley gives when she smiles.

I'm really not sure what to say.

I have upon many friends in the US from studying there.

It's a real shame to have the leader of your country flat out lie to those who protect.

I was at work and missed it, I'll have to watch it. I know the military doesn't like him much, and I've never liked listening to him speak even before he was president.

It is a shame foreigners talk as if they know enough about Obama to state it. I don't see Obama having lied much at all. Much less than Bush, our great warmongering president.

Oh, I am not offended lol. I am just stating it.

Ex for me) I know a lot about Angela Merkel, however I do not have the knowledge to say that she is... A puppet, or a liar etc. It is just something that Americans do a lot that I dislike. It also spreads all over the world.

Trying to watch German news in America is a chore that I have to dedicate a good bit of time to. Unless the world news is different in Austria (def not in Germany! been there, done that), and they show everything the US does... then I don't think many foreigners (outside politicians) can really say that.
