Crunchyroll is using our money to give titles to US and Canada...

Your money does not go into titles for the US and Canada. Your money goes to the publishers whose content you are watching, into our infrastructure in your region, subtitle production for your language, and acquisition of titles for your region.

My money goes to CR, period. What are they doing with it I dont know and I shouldn't have to but... only 14 titles this season, two of them without subtitles? When others got 20+ simucast titles this season (and still say that it isn't enought) and catalog titles every day...
Yeah, i'm not happy

Judging from the reaction in this thread, and the similar reactions in previous seasons, I have to wonder if this strategy of blending the last few simulcast announcements in with NA only catalog announcements is alienating more subscribers than it is pleasing. I know I would personally prefer if catalog announcements were made at a different time than simulcast ones so I could know to zone them out instead of checking the threads every day only to be disappointed.

If there must be so many US/CA only announcements, having them be their own thing and putting them out at times when we internationals know we're getting nothing would maybe result in less anger. I actually liked the 'Library Expansion Project' event because it was pretty clear from the title and timing that we would get nothing from it, unlike now when we're sitting through title after title not for us while waiting for the last two simulcasts to drop.

Getting all of these US/CA only announcements at the end also kind of sours the feeling of having had a great season (my region is only missing 3 shows this time), because even though these are catalog titles, they get blended in with the simulcasts, making it feel like you're missing out.

wow, whole lotta people itt don't understand how money works

simple fact: subscription fees are not even remotely proportional to the amount of content available in each region. but that's all we know.

we have no way of knowing how much of crunchyroll's income comes from each region, or how much of their expenses go towards each region. so there's no way for us to judge whether people in any given region are subsidising people in any other given region. maybe the licenses in smaller regions cost a lot more to arrange, and us/canada subscriptions are making up the difference? or maybe it's the other way round, and people in europe are pouring money down the drain so us/canada folks can enjoy a huge catalog at bargain prices? we simply. can't. tell.

what we can say for sure is that they could reduce a lot of ill will by implementing a better announcements system, where people aren't constantly exposed to announcements of things that they won't be allowed to watch. but it seems they prefer the lazy approach where they don't even bother to have separate threads with regions in the titles, so ... not holding my breath.

From what I've heard, it's the one where the dub is basically an entirely different show, it's a gag dub. It's the kind of dub that Japanese companies of today wouldn't allow.

YES! Ghost Stories Dub is one of the best things ever! It's like an abridged series but done by an actual company!

Yeah, you are correct. But when see your content getting worst every season and the others gets better, it makes people frustrated, and then comes the catalog titles...
Is it because we live in smaller regions? If it is, CR can stop adding animes here because people are starting givin up (i'm one of them).
Instead of giving catalog titles every day to the same party, shouldnt they take a break and make sure that every body is getting enough content?
The feeling i get from Crunchyroll is that they don't care.
