There's a nice Japanese deli near my place that has a hot food bar where you scoop whatever you want and pay by weight. The hot food bar has a lot of Japanese/western fusion.

They serve bratwurst and Berkshire pork sausage on a bed of sauerkraut. I can't eat too much of it even though I like it because it's a bit salty, but it goes great with the sausages.

Yea most sauerkrauts you find at stores and restaurants are too salty and not sour enough, that's why I just make it myself.

Sour kraut is the devil!

Sauerkraut is bomb. Try it with beer brats, diced onions, and some stone ground mustard on a hot dog bun.

I lived in Wisconsin for a while which is like Americas wannabe Germany. Couldn't enjoy with anything. Not my cup of tea

Fried Chicken always makes me happy.
Chicken Curry and rice is a new dish I've grown to love

Takeout pizza and garlic fingers is pretty unreal. You haven't lived life until you had garlic fingers alongside your pizza. It's basically like pizza dough, with garlic butter, cheese, bacon and some herbs such as parsley. It is pretty unbelievable great despite being so simple. Atlantic Canadian invention I suppose.
