I guess I'm missing out because food has never excited me. I don't eat for enjoyment and never enjoy my food. I only eat to survive lol. I don't get how food can be entertainment but that's just me. Of course it doesn't help that I'm allergic to everything so my choices in foods and ingredients are severely limited. Maybe if I could eat more types of dishes I would feel differently? It's also probably why I still can't gain any freaking weight. Try finding anything sweet these days that either A. Doesn't have nuts or B. aren't made on the same machinery that processes nuts, tree nuts, etc. Cinnamon is out of the question, that one will close my airways really fast. Most dyes seem to get me along with soy and many other common ingredients. You would be surprised how often nuts or nut powder (basically they crush all manner of nuts into a fine powder and use it as a filler on damn year everything) is used as a freaking filler in foods and deserts and aren't even listed in the ingredients. That's dangerous for people who are allergic. :(
