What Bernie will be able to achieve as president will be limited by the fact that the Republicans control the congress and the fact that Bernie openly states that he is a democratic socialist. Until the democrats win back control of the congress much of what he is saying will be little more than rhetoric.

No, not reaching at all:
The Waco fire was during the Clinton administration....and he was married to Hillary...who had a controversy in her past everyone thinks will affect her election...

....Sorry, I'm trying to get it in four, but I just CAN'T CONNECT it to Kevin Bacon!

He's a little too liberal for me, but all the same, anyone is better than Trump. As a person who is moderate politically with left tones, of course I'm not gonna agree with everything he has to say, but Trump is a bumbling idiot. As long as Sanders doesn't end up putting sjw pandering laws into place after election I'm fine with him being appointed new leader, hypothetically.

You mean the Benghazi movie by Michael Bay? Oh no, I feel like it will just be explosions and crap all over the people who were actually there. I don't think it will get people to hate Hillary so much as get people to rage at Michael Bay.

Sorry guys, I'm not a fan of Bernie Sanders. I also don't like Clinton. The Republicans need to figure out what they are doing. I'm not sure I want to vote for a president whose own party has no clue on how to run itself let alone the country. It needs to either pick the ultra conservative voice of Trump and Cruz or the economic focus of established Republicans. I'm not a fan of either.

I'll probably pick Clinton. Bernie Sanders seems to have limited grasp of foreign policy and I doubt his social programs are going to turn out as good as he hopes.

You might want to research the movie a bit. Might be surprised.

Also, voting for Hillary is practically admitting you want to fuck America over more. I don't see any great choices but she is sure one to steer clear of.

Fair enough, I'll look into the Benghazi movie, making that judgement call before it comes out is presumptuous.

I disagree about voting for Hillary to "Fuck America over". I'm not saying a Hillary presidency will be lively and amazing, but I don't think it will be the end of the world.

Yeah, I did. I'm worried about the kind of rhetoric that's being thrown around by Trump's campaign. Rereading, I may have overreacted. Still, singling out minorities is a bad move in my mind. I don't want to be held responsible for actions I did not do which is why I sympathized with American Muslims facing backlash over other Muslims from other nations committing terrorism.

Thinking about it, whoever is president probably won't end up doing much since partisan gridlock/bureaucracy will limit impact.

What I was trying to convey in that post was that if you take Trump's statement about a ban on Muslims and swap in another minority it would seem different. Would it be acceptable if Trump had said a ban on traveling Sikh people? Jewish people?

I chose Chinese since that would be what relates most to me. If I'm still sounding crazy ask me again or just point out where I'm nuts.
