No, I don't feel sorry for this twat or the jackasses who donated to her. If you spent all your money thinking you were going to win the Powerball, then you're truly an idiot who shouldn't even be allowed to function in public.

Furthermore, someone needs Gamblers Anon STAT. Really....a one year old can tell you that THIS IS NOT HOW IT WORKS

With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need.

Lottery is called "gamble" for a reason. You win, or you lose. But 99.999% of the time, you lose.

Some people are really stupid. "Expecting to win", rofl. If it were that easy to win just by buying a lot of tickets, the jackpot wouldn't have risen to 1.6 billion in the first place.

Only a really stupid person would spend that much money on the Powerball. It's a known fact that even if you spent a million dollars on tickets, your odds of winning the grand prize are still really low.

This has to be a scam as NOBODY is stupid enuf to spend all their money on a poor chance at the jackpot.

And the morons that sent the money should be slapped up alongside the head and "tatted" I'm STUPID on their forehead

Honestly, compared to all the different kinds of gambling in the world, including casinos... the state lotteries are cheap af, and low risk.

I mean it's $1 or $2 for the million-dollar ones. That's not bad. The average person is going to spend like $1, or maybe even up to $20. FIlling out $100 worth of tickets is kinda monotonous and really discourages gambling.

At a casino, like if you're playing roulette or the slots... it's easy for the average person to spend more than $20 tbh.

So I'm not all about banning state lotteries. Cuz they're kinda gambler-friendly.

This person and her family however... they just got caught in the hype, and unfortunately, they didn't win. I don't think they typically do that kind of shit irl. They just got brainwashed by the bright lights and Yahoo! pages, and whatnot news.

I think the donation thing is fair. It's their fault, but only partly. It's mostly just them falling for the scam of the hyped up news of the huge jackpot. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance or a helping hand when someone tricks you and you do something dumb.
