Yes. Especially if others had trusted on me being right; I will feel terrible. If it was just a dumb discussion then I don't care as much, though I'll still feel pretty bad about it. My mind does not like to be rational about these things, even when I know it doesn't matter.

For me, it definitely does, at least at certain times it does when saying and doing stuff that ends up being in the wrong hits. Of course, I am fully aware that I won't be right all the time seeing that I made statements based on information and other things are aren't exactly the most reliable of precedents or other stuff. But even so, I'm quite at a loss every time that I'm wrong, and I just feel out of it whenever I whiff as what I know isn't what it is. My mind just doesn't realize that it's fine to be wrong whenever such a moment hits.

It's called a learning curve

After each wrong, you're more likely than ever to be right

If you're too busy feeling bad and never learn.......... Well, you'd just keep repeating your mistakes.

Yes, yes and yes. Especially right now, when my own career's facing the equivalent of a fucking brick wall, beyond which lies the elusive specter of financial independence and dignity. So whenever I do screw up, I'm like, "of course I did, being the pathetic unemployed moron I am." Maybe when I have something other than my own parents to fall back on, this may change.

No. Part of learning is sometimes being wrong.

My confidence? No. The only time I'll worry about such matters are decisions with weight. It's not a confidence hit so much as 'fuck don't want to lose job' or 'fuck I don't want to disappoint' thought.

My ego? Maybe. It depends.

In lighter matters, and especially discussions, I prefer being wrong.

I don't know about that last part, but otherwise this.

I am always wrong. So when I am wrong I learn.
