Storme stumbled down the hall of the dormitory at an ungodly hour, barely holding his keys in his hand. He had just returned from someone's couch, after apparently getting drunk off his ass and passing out. His head was pounding and his body was pretty sore, given that said couch owner's boyfriend had come home and roughly pushed him off of it. If he wasn't so disgruntled by the whole experience he probably would have beaten the shit out of the guy, but he wasn't in the mood for a fiasco like that. The man seemed to try to back off anyways after seeing his police uniform. Storme managed to get to a door that was hopefully his, and, luckily for him, it was unlocked. Stumbling in through the doorframe, he tossed his bags to the side and rubbed his eyes, trying to find where the bed was in this place. He was pretty sure it was his, anyways. He hadn't exactly ever checked into his dorm before, having either crashed at pther people's houses before or not come home at all. He sighed. Going to bed at a responsible time had never been his forte.

Lukiesse was lying in bed, half asleep, half awake. His eyes were dazed, as he stared at the wall in front of him. He slowly sat to a sitting position, rubbing his eyes, with a cute stuffed sheep on his lap. Hi eyes scanned the room, looking at the clock. 2:34 AM. "Another night without sleep...' He thought to himself, as he reached over the side of his bed, grabbing what seemed to be a book. He gently opened the book, then closed it, setting it back down where it had originally been. "I forgot I can't read in the dark..." The seemingly forgetful looked around his dorm room one more time, unable to really make out anything due to having no lights on. He flinched at the sound of someone or something bumping into walls outside the dorm rooms, as it kept getting closer, and closer to his own room. He sat in silence as someone barged into his room, as he stared at the man. The man threw his bags to the side, and stumbled around to find an empty bed. The boy just stared at the open door, then looked at the other man. '... I forgot to lock the door..!' He just sat there, unable to make a sound. He was afraid the man would kill him if he noticed Lukiesse was there. He then smelled some kind of familiar scent '... alcohol? Then... this guy is a drunkard too?!' Lukiesse slowly clutched his stuffed sheep, clutching it to his chest, as he looked at the man and the door. He had never had a roommate before, so it wasn't like anyone else was going to come anyway. He scanned the room with his eyes in panic. 'What should I do...? What will he do if he notices me..?' He then realized how stupid that was. The man came in, threw down his bags, not noticing Lukiesse, and laid on the bed, yet to make a move. Maybe he was asleep already. Lukiesse shook his head, as if to erase any lingering thoughts that would cause more of a panic. He squirmed a bit in his bed, unable to really move in fear that moving might make him noticeable to the man. But he was probably asleep... right? Lukiesse slowly started to lay back down, when his bed made a rather loud creaking noise. He froze in place, looking over at the man in fear that he heard.

Storme was in a dazed, albeit pleasant half-sleep state when the creaking noise disturbed him. "Huh?" He mumbled. His eyes snapped open, although he was too tired to initially spring up into a sitting position. That, and he was muscular enough to take out the majority of intruders. Unless said intruder had a gun, he thought, but that wasn't really his focus at the moment. He had a gun on his belt as well, and he was around 50 percent sure it was loaded. That was more than enough of a chance for a drunk man to put 100 percent of his faith in it, anyways. He pushed himself up by his arms and pulled his knees under him, reaching over the side of the bed for his things. They were, of course, not close enough to him. He sat there like that for a second, trying to think through the haze of thoughts in his brain, before he got up. That's right, he thought, stumbling over near the other bed. I'm, uh, really buff. He paused before squinting at the bed. He could barely make out a figure in it with the light of the hallway making it's way in. Should he shut the door? If he was going to beat the shit out of someone, he didn't really want to wake the neighbors... Granted, it wasn't really a high priority, but he was too tired to really think of that right now. He stumbled over to the door and pushed it shut, before moving back near the intruder's bed. Or, was he the intruder? He shook his head. Focus. "Who's there?" He called, crossing his arms. At least he was in his uniform and not his boxers. That had to make him look at least slightly more intimidating.

Lukiesse watched in fear as the man reached around his bed, as he began to shake, pushing his back against the wall. The man didn't find anything, and got out of bed, stumbling to the door in a half-dazed state. The buff male pushed the door closed, and Lukiesse's sanity level began to quick drop. He had never met a cop before, and it was even scarier up close. He heard the buff man ask a question, crossing his arms in a way to look more scary. Lukiesse shook more, as he felt tears swelling up. ".. m ..." His voice shook as he stared in fear, clutching his stuffed sheep harder. ".. m-m... me... L-L-Lukiesse .. W-Willis..." He stuttered over and over, and accidentally bit his tongue in the process, wincing in pain. He didn't know why a police officer would scare him so much, maybe it was because it was dark? Lukiesse hated the dark, for it felt like he was being pulled into an abyss by a demon. He felt hot tears roll down his face, as he kept staring at the officer. ".. s-s-s-orr... y..." He muttered, his voice going softer and softer and more dry each time he spoke. He was like a baby kitten seeing something rather gruesome for the first time.

Storme was a bit taken aback by the fear in the person's voice. It seemed a bit more likely that he was the intruder after all. "What was that?" He said, moving to the side of the bed. His arm shot down and pulled Lukiesse up by his collar. He would normally not be so rough, but he still wasn't thinking straight. He was pretty sure whoever this was had said something else as well, but he could barely hear him. The person was quite light, he mused. Perhaps it was a woman? Storme couldn't really see anything. He was starting to regret closing the door. He bit his lip, getting a bit lost in his thoughts. He was pretty sure this was his room. Come to think of it, was he even in the right place? He seemed to stare off, before he was suddenly drawn back by the sensation of warm droplets on his wrist. "Hmm?" He squinted. Was he crying? He pulled him up close to his face, holding him around a foot off the ground. Despite this, he still couldn't see. "Are you crying?" He asked, his breath reeking of alcohol.

Lukiesse let out a yelp as he was roughly taken by the collar, shaken up more as the man had appeared to have gotten more on guard. His lavender eyes wavered, as the tears wouldn't stop, as he felt himself get pulled up from above the ground, quickly grabbing onto the man's wrist with both hands in fear that he would fall. He squirmed slightly in the man's grasp as he was above the floor, as the man got closer to his own face, as he shook more, making it now easy able to notice how hard he was shaking. He was taken aback by the smell of alcohol that the man had apparently drank earlier, as he heard the question loud and clear. His throat was dry and scratchy, as he felt it throb in pain. He could feel his eyes starting to burn from how much he had been crying. Yet his attitude lead him to be a bit stubborn sounding, a front he usually put on towards others. "... w-what of.. i-it..?" He managed to say, coughing slightly from the dryness in his throat. His voice was coarse yet somewhat soft, almost like a girl's. Yet it had the rough sound of a man's voice.

Storme raised an eyebrow at the boy's stubborn nature. In most situations like this, the other person was too scared to put up any sort of fight, physical or otherwise. He ignored the hands clinging desperately to his wrist and tilted his head instead, trying to decipher if the person in front of him was a man or a woman. "You should watch your tone." He said, pushing Lukiesse against the wall behind him. "I'm an officer, you know." Well, technically anyways. Technically, he was the chief given that he was the only one to inherit the role. Bringing his hand down slightly, he allowed Lukiesse's toes to barely touch the ground as his hand reached to the side to find a light. Eventually bumping into and almost knocking over a lamp, he finally found the switch and turned the light on. It didn't appear to be operating quite well as there was only a soft glow in the room, and not a real illuminating light. Perhaps he hit it a bit too hard? He shook his head, instead focusing on the crying boy's features. So he was a male. Well, that was good to know. He did seem to be crying a lot, however, and if he wasn't sure the boy was living in a dorm for an upper level school he would have mistaken him for a child. He was carrying a stuffed animal, too. Storme scoffed. He thought that Lukiesse would pose some sort of threat, but he was obviously harmless.

Lukiesse felt his toes just barely reach the floor, letting his grasp on the man's wrist a little more loose. He felt his back be clashed against the wall, as his face was illuminated with a dim light from his old lamp. The lamp had been used for such a long time that it had just barely burnt out, so he stopped using it. He felt a slight tug from underneath his arm, as his stuffed sheep fell from under his arm to the floor. He could barely see it fall from the angel he was at, as he looked back, scanning the officers face. He looked so stern and pissed... he began to wonder what he had done wrong, and why the officer was even there. He heard the officers harsh words, as he flinched slightly as if ready for being hit. "... I.. I'm sorry.. o-officer... I just.. I'm so.. confused.." He looked away from the officer, his tears still yet having to cease. He tried to clear his throat, but it was too dry to clear, and he just slightly winced in pain instead. He sniffled as he looked back at the officer, "Did I... do s-something.. wrong..?" He questioned, with a face of confusion, fear, and worry.

Storme blinked. Why exactly was he here again...? He tried to think. Right, he had gotten drunk and come here, thinking that this boy was an intruder... And then he had pulled him closer so he could hear him. He looked at the boy for a second before releasing him, pulling his arm back. "Oh." He said. He had forgotten how strong he was, essentially tossing Lukiesse around as if he was a rag doll. The boy even seemed to flinch when he spoke. "Uhm, do you live here?" He said, crossing his arms again. He didn't really mean to look intimidating by it, but it was the pose he usually fell back into. He was pretty sure that this was his room, but he had never checked to see if he had a roommate, considering that he had never really looked into his residency here at all. He glanced to the door. What room number was this again? He had forgotten already. He almost regretted getting as drunk as he did earlier in the night, as it ended up with him apparently breaking into a very sensitive person's house in the middle of the night. He bit his lip. The boy looked like he was about to break down.

Lukiesse felt his feet fully touch the floor, and as he had been above the ground for awhile, he lost his balance. He nearly fell over, but caught himself, standing back up, as he made an effort to rub his tears away, now seeing that the man had meant no harm. His tears stopped as he looked back at the man, fixing his shirt. He reached down and picked up his stuffed sheep, holding it close to his chest, in an attempt to try not to completely melt away. He went over what had just happened in his head. 'An officer walked into my room, set aside his things, and nearly fell asleep on the bed. I creaked the bed, causing him to awake, and see me as... an enemy? He then nearly killed me, asking me harsh questions in a harsh tone... just what kind of guy is he?' He looked back at the officer, still rather shook up from what had happened. As simple as it sounded, it was rather frightful to experience. "... I do... but I was... m-moved in recently.. a-and they told me that m-my roommate never really showed up.. s-so I forgot I even had one... w-would you perhaps be my roommate..?" He questioned, coughing in between sentences as he looked at the officer.

Storme watched him stumble around. Perhaps he should have put him down gentler? At least he was no longer crying, he mused. He watched him pick up his stuffed animal with slight confusion. So he was sleeping with a stuffed animal. Storme wasn't the type of person to really find that disturbing or make fun of him for it, partially because he didn't care enough about it, however it was worth noting. He almost forgot that they were having an actual conversation in his thoughts. Honestly, he was too tired for this. "Huh?" He said, scratching the back of his neck. "Oh. Yea... Right." He said, yawning. He bit his lip. He was never good with first impressions. He felt as if he should introduce himself, but he was never really good about things like that. "Uhm, sorry." He said. 'Sorry' probably didn't begin to make up for it, but he also wasn't good at apologizing, either. Deciding that this was enough, he started to move back over to his bed.

Lukiesse watched the man look for words to say, and then start to move back to his bed. Lukiesse just watched with a sort of "what the nuts just happened" expression. He looked down at his stuffed sheep, then back at the man. He didn't even had the officer's name yet. He slowly sat down on his bed, looking at the dim lamp. He sat there in a half-dazed state, staring back and forth between the lamp and the stuffed sheep. After about five minutes of sitting there, he looked at the officer. His face was kind of pissed looking, yet confused. "... the hell kind of introduction was that?" His personality seemed to kind of... switch. He got up out of his bed, and went over to the lamp, and turned it off. He crawled back in bed, laid down, and rolled over to face the wall. A few minutes later, he sprung up, and reached for the book by his bed, and began to just casually read in the dark like nothing had ever happened. His eyes were still red from him crying earlier, but it seemed he was the moody type. He glanced over at the officer, wondering if he was awake or not.

Storme practically fell on the bed, his face quickly being engulfed in pillow. He was tired, and sore, and he had just made an awful situation between him and his new roommate. He was a little pissed that he was not asleep already, given that earlier he almost passed out. It seemed he had broken his sleep cycle, as his brain was now insisting that it was no longer time for sleep. He let out a groan into his pillow before turning over on his back. At least it was dark. Storme had a serious problem with the light, mainly because of the throbbing headaches that were quite easily agitated by said brightness whenever he had a hangover. He couldn't sleep, and rolling over on his back didn't seem to help. He wondered if the boy was awake. Deciding not to stay in a state of uncertainty about the matter, he sighed and looked over at Lukiesse's bed. "What's your name?" He said, rather loudly. He wasn't quite sure if this other person was awake either, but he figured his booming voice would at least stir him from his slumber if he was not awake already.

Lukiesse looked over the officer, as he was stated with a question. He put his book down, adjusting his sheets, looking at the dim light that seemed to have broken, yet still somehow remained lit. "Lukiesse Willis." He looked back at the officer again, "What's yours?" He stretched slightly, his stuffed sheep moving on his lap from his legs changing positions, as he looked down at his bed. Even with the light, it was still rather dark to him. He felt something creeping up his back, a creepy, wriggling feeling. He squirmed a bit as he felt his arms and legs get affected with the same feeling, as if something was consuming him. He reached out and clutched his sheep to his chest, as he shivered at the feeling he had on his back, legs, and arms. He knew it was from his fear of the dark, yet he hated to admit what it was to himself or others. He tried to will his thoughts away from the fact it was dark, as if to try to oppress the feeling he had. He could feel it minimizing, yet it still had a lingering feeling there. He laid back down on the bed, covering himself with his blanket, all the way over his mouth. He was hassled by an officer earlier, and he couldn't sleep in the dark to top it all off. What kind of day was it?
