I've been reading this manga for about four or five years now, and I have to say that I'm sooo ready for the ending. I LOVE it, don't get me wrong. But I feel like Takahashi stretched out certain story arcs that were not entirely necessary to the overall story. I often wondered if she knew where she was going with the story.
As for this week's chapter, I'm satisfied. It was not the explosive ending I've been expecting, but I guess the chapter a few weeks ago was explosive enough (the final Naraku battle). Without the jewel, I don't think Kagome will be able to cross times anymore. I guess they'll go into all that with the final chapter next week.
Soooo....do you think IY will go with her, or will he stay in his time?

I can't believe that it's actually over! The last chapter was cute but it was still fun to read it  Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I thought the marriage part was surprising, a bit much considering how they dragged their relationship along for so long... but I guess it was fan service. So cute. |

After 10+ long years, it's finally over! When I finished I realized that I was holding my breath that whole time since I first saw it when it came to America. [[figuratively of course]] I loved it, especially when Kagome called Sesshomaru onii-saan XD

They finished the show years ago. They don't plan on making any more episodes if thats what your asking.

That's why I read the chapter summaries. Much quicker that way. It's only recently that I began to read the manga myself again because I want to see for myself how it ends.

I'm really happy with the way it ended it wrapped up pretty nicely.
Cute Sango and Miroku have twins and a third child. Kawaii!!
I just wished we could have seen Koga one last time. But who's to say that now that she lives in the feudal era he isn't going to bug her right?
Looks like Souta is going to grow up to look kinda like "Hobo" as Inu called him [Hojo].

I read the last chapter then, seeing as I got bored of it before even the anime finished.
It was a bit corny, but its always hard to finish a long epic series that has been dragged out far too long, lol.
