Solifuges are camel spiders. People also call them wind spiders and sun scorpions and a bunch of other weird names. They're not true spiders so I refrain from calling them spiders when I can.

I no an expert, so I can't really argue with you here. Thou I do have a fascination for spiders thou.

It's been a few years since I did any entomology stuff myself but arachnids have been favorites of mine, too. One of the first books I ever remember reading (I was in preschool) was a book about spiders. And I used to keep large jumping spiders as pets. They're fun to watch.

I heard there were spiders so I came running.


The jumping ones are the worst because they're so unpredictable. I always worry they'll jump on me and hide in my clothes.
