People are so easily influenced by things around them, that I wouldn't say anyone is truly 100%. You make decisions that have been rigged without you noticing.

In the United States, I think we are more free than most people in the world.

It's just we, like anyone else in the world, have responsibilities that hinder our day to day life. In other words, you are about as free as you allow yourself to be.

Tbh I think if someone were to be free, that would mean being dead. Because in death you don't have to worry about shit. Not money, bills, people, etc. Free from all that shit that stresses you out.

With enough money, anyone can be free. You don't have to work, you can go wherever you want whenever, live here or there.

As free as you can be if you stay within the law.

I'm more free than many people. Not that it matters much. Freedom is limited by our lack of free will.

Warning warning, incoming rant.

HAHAHAHAHA........free. yeah I'm free to do what I want for 14 hours every day of the week, and have 2 days off for unlimited sleep and whatever I feel like.

If I had like 5 million dollars, then I'll be free. It's this little thing called money that makes us free. Doesn't that sound like fun. Contribute to society! Oh ok. So when can I go home now? If you want me to contribute to society, stop making me pay for insurance, stop reassessing my fucking income tax when I have already spent the money the government has given me, stop increasing our hydro, and gas bills. Stop increasing our food products. Stop keeping Gass prices close to a dollar when the price of fucking oil is decreasing on a daily!

The more money I have in my pocket, the more freedom I will have, cold hard truth. The world wants to keep increasing what we pay for, don't be so shocked when I just want to stay home instead of going out being free. I pay my bills, I pay money for data and Internet when It should be free, but hey life goes on, and my wage won't increase to satisfy the increase of the globe, because then I have to use my time and MONEY to get a better job for MONEY.

That's why I live my life free. Free of stress, free of uncertainty, I live with clarity, my mind will focus on what makes me happy, because happiness, whether you're alone or with others, it gives you freedom. It gives you freedom to smile and laugh at the world around. I take life one day at a time. Life is too short to be doing something that makes you miserable. Life is to short to be living for the soul purpose of money, but the sad truth is that we must. I live within my own means, and I purchase items that bring me one step closer to my goals, all I need is time. You could wake up one day and you will be 30 years old, 40 years old, 50, but at the end of the day it is not what you have made.... it is what you have created, what happiness you have had and shared.

I wish. Once I get out of here and find a stable career, I'll be as free as I'll ever be.

Basically. I don't have anything tying me down to one place. Money is always a constraint, but you can do a lot with a little money if you are willing to make sacrifices along the way. I don't have a traditional career. I don't have children or a spouse, and all my close relatives are in good health. I don't own a home or have any debt. No serious medical problems, though I've had them in the past and that's one reason I live so freely now.

You only get one life so you have to use your time well. I've deliberately structured my life so that nothing is tying me down, and it works for me.

I'm pretty financially free, despite my young age. I was lucky to have my current job fall into my lap, and i'm very good at saving money.

I get to travel a lot around the world, and buy what i need as long as it's reasonable. I'm not rich by any means, but i have a nice pocket of money saved up if i ever need it for emergency/vacations/ or travel.

I started saving for retirement at an early age, around 17 years old.

I committed a lot to my 401k and Roth IRA's and mutual funds; although, a lot of my saved money is liquid, i also was responsible enough to diversify as well. I learned a lot from the personalfinance//FinancialIndependence/investing section of reddit actually, which is kinda funny. ^_^
