I'm on an internal debate on wether to continue watching Erased and Mobile Suit gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. I can't seem to get as much enjoyment of them as I would if I was watching them in their entirety when they are finished. Does this happen to anyone else? Do you prefer for a show to be finished to get fully inmersed in it or are you okay with watching on a weekly basis?

Wait. One week between episodes is agony.

Watch on a weekly basis. It's all about the feeling of anticipation building up inside you while waiting, then the sweet release of finally getting to watch the content that you've been hungrily awating for a full seven days.

I watch shows as they air.

I also read the manga, assuming I have not already done so.

Erased - not really a spoiler but .....

Watch weekly.

It's less painful sitting through harems that way.

I normally wait until all the shows are done. So that way I don't have to wait. :3

I think it's best to watch as they air. The anticipation and theorizing of new shows is quite thrilling.

I like to watch as they air since it's easier to keep up that way.

Okay just re-watched Erased (which I didn't enjoy the first time for some Odd reason!) And now I feel excited waiting for the next episode! :). Just needed a rewatch to rekindle that excitement. I hope it only gets better and better from here!

I prefer to watch until the show is finished, and just make time for 8hrs (for a 12 episode anime) another day, or when I'm relaxed and in the mood to watch.

Although, sometimes this happens to me, I watch simulcast animes for 3 weeks, just to see if I like it and then wait for another 3 weeks or weekly (if I like the anime), but stops around ep 8-10 episode (the climax of a 12 episode anime), I usually stop watching for weeks and until the series is completed, I will sit down once again and finish watching the series.

Depends on whether or not I have something to watch. Last season I had plenty to watch so I held off on Noragami Aragoto since I knew I would hate the wait.

This season is pretty much dead as dirt to me so I'm rewatching shows and jumping on that Noragami bandwagon.

I agree this season is really bad. Luckily im 20 episodes away from finishing Hunter X Hunter. I'm watching it veryyy slowly.

I don't mind watching weekly. These are by and large one cour series, so if I wait I'm basically left with an afternoon's worth of anime to watch. And that can leave me a bit wanting.

I watch as it airs. Most series are designed and paced to be watched in that manner, and things like cliff hangers, intentionally repeated plot elements, flashbacks, etc. can actually lose all of their impact or make the series less appealing if you marathon it later on. Sure it can be frustrating to wait but I tend to consider that feeling of "I need the next episode now!" as a sign of a good show.

I prefer watching shows weekly (or daily for finished series). The time in between episodes lets me theorize about future events, as well as more fully digest the episode's content. Plus, its also fun discuss and make predictions for future episodes in forums or among other fans.
