not entirely, you can be fat, but not obese, like obese to me is 200 and above, fat is 170-199
again, also depending on height

Same height as you nearly. 5'2" and 95 lbs. I just use BMI. 17.4 on my end.

Fat is just a more casual term for overweight.

Overweight is not the same as obesity.

I'm 6'375 (usually rounded up) and weigh 205. So, I'm technically overweight class 1.

Think there is a medical chart for that somewhere. Of course that is for an average person. If you have denser bones or more muscles then you will weigh more and not be overweight.

Hard to say if you only go by height/weight. It's a tricky issue since it involves more factors than just that. If I were to ONLY look at your height and weight you gave then yes, I'd say you're overweight for sure. That doesn't really tell me much though. Not to mention what some define as fat others might not. You could have one person who is short and overweight but if it's distributed properly it would be hard to call them fat. Overweight/not overweight is easier to point out than the whole terminology people like to throw around these days (ie curvy, fat, etc.).

Personally I'm 5'8, 135 lbs and pretty much in shape for an old guy. Should keep me around a few more years maybe.

I used to be 95-then became 115 and stable, before I got put on medicine that jacked up my weight to 185 in less than 5 months ,70 pound weight gain :C

I'm like 6'2 and I can't go below 170 without severe hungry so I stay between 170-180. I also have dense bones.
