The people who support Trump would probably be those people who stereotype anime as what this dude is talking about.

Well, it was MSNBC. I think Mr. Wilson is a closet anime fan. How else does he know that anime fans "... masturbate to anime"?

I guess he's referencing 4chan and /pol/, I really doubt they are that significant politically though.

Never doubt the power of 4chan and its memes.

Rick Wilson's comment was aimed MORE at the White Nationalist movements publicly supporting Trump's "bold, American" views on Muslims, Syrians and Mexicans, which is going to be a ringing endorsement any way you look at it.

Just the commenter had never seen anime in his life, looked up on AltRight's Twitter page, saw all the "disguised" anime avatars, and not only thought all white-supremacists watched Tokyo Ghoul, but that all Tokyo Ghoul fans were white-supremacists.

TBH if someone liked the Tokyo Ghoul anime they most likely are a terrible person.

Now I'm going to have to watch enough Tokyo Ghoul to get its gist. Dexter viewers are the ones who tend to creep me out.
