I’m going to get a few inches where I live from this since I’m at the edge of the storm.

I have to work(I work in assisted living) and my area is forecasted to get 12-24 feet.

I AM NOT HAPPY THAT I HAVE TO SPEND AT LEAST ONE NIGHT OVER. But...I plan to bring what I need and my IPad so I can at least bingewatch things, along with some books and even some notebooks(for writing/doodling).

Same here--I don't live in DC or Virginia, where they think winter is for the little states, so I don't go "GASP! We might get SNOW!!"

(I live in New England, where the presiding opinion is "Really? We might get snow, you say? ")

I live in Virginia near DC. I'm prepared for the storm which may or may not be as bad as the prediction. Not too worried about it. The thing that does concern me is Pepco, the power company, talking about being prepared for power outages of several days. I don't mind the power going out, except for the fact that the pipes could freeze if that happened. I've survived bad storms and low temps before when I was in Michigan so the snow doesn't worry me.
