Pocky

Kitkat

Chocolate-filled animals shaped biscuits (Koara no Machi, Hello Panda, Pucca)

Assortments of Wagashi/Japanese traditional confectioneries (Daifuku, Nerikiri, Manju, Ohagi, Monaka, assorted kinds of Mochi, etc)

Taiyaki

Takoyaki

Melon pan (the ones sold in stores are not cutesy animal-shaped like these, but you could make them yourself)

Dorayaki (Beside the usual red bean paste filling, I also make it with home-made green tea or red bean ice cream filling like the picture below, or Nutella filling, sometime I mix matcha with the flour to make green tea dorayaki)

Mochi Ice Cream

Calpico & Ramune

For store-bought snacks I usually buy it at nearby Japanese markets like Mitsuwa, Nijiya or Marukai.

For others like daifuku, dorayaki, taiyaki, takoyaki, mochi, ice cream & melon pan I would rather make it myself.
I make my own anko (red bean paste) from fresh adzuki beans, so they taste much better than store-bought.

I also buy matcha (green tea powder) to make my home-made snacks/desserts: Matcha Cookies with white chocolate chip, Mochi, Crepes, Cupcakes, Muffins, Yogurt pops, Ice creams like this Ujikintoki:

Green tea pocky is probably the best thing I've had in terms of snacks from Japan.
I also love the hot coffee in a can from the vending machine.

Puku Puku Tai; a pink fish shaped wafer filled with strawberry cream? there used to be an asian store in a nearby mall with all sorts of japanese snacks and anime stuff, but it went away a couple years ago.

This one? They're shaped like a Taiyaki & also available with chocolate cream filling. I like it too! Depends on where you live you could still find it at some Japanese grocery stores/markets, but your best bet is buying it online.

Pocky looks like something that would annoy me greatly. It looks like air in solid form under the pretense of nutrition and flavor. Here, take this bullshit and dip it into something with flavor and pretend that's what Pocky taste like.
