Chuunibyou season 1.

Great animation, comedy, romance, drama. Relatable and entertaining characters. Great writing/dialogue. And its story arc is perfectly structured to keep its audience engaged until the end.

Baccano! An incredibly charming cast that always keeps me interested no matter which one is being focused on. Written in such a way that 3 seemingly unrelated story lines are all connected and forces the audience to try to piece together the sequence of evens from one story line to another. And by the time you've finished it, everything makes sense. A somewhat unique setting- 1930s New York & Chicago. Enough action for action junkies, some cute little romances, and even some horror.

My favourite anime/manga series is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but even I wouldn't say it's perfect.

That said, there is no such thing as a perfect anime/game/movie/etc., so if 10/10 ratings from "credible" reviewers exist for games like GTA and movies like Star Wars, JoJo's also deserves a 10/10.

It's cool, smart, creative, funny, shocking, and interesting to new audiences even decades later. The characters are awesome and memorable, even when they might appear for two episodes or just a few chapters. And through its popularity, longevity, influence, and distinct art style, it has become iconic.

So, yeah... JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Can't wait for Part IV (although I read it a long time ago ).

Hmm. I was about to say no anime is 10/10 if I am critical... But then I remember that Carnival Phantasm is a thing.

For me, I would have to say Love Live and Sound Euphonium come the closest though neither is really a perfect 10/10.

The only real fault I can find in Love Live is that the CGI used in group performances is sometimes suspect, though I appreciate why they use it especially in large scenes with extensive choreography. Everything else is bang on, from a cast to I legitimately love all the members of to a heart warming (and heart wrenching) story to great music.

Sound Euphonium is only let down by it's lack of conclusion, though I know this is the case because they are still going to be telling more of the story later. Maybe after S2 it will be a 10/10, maybe not, but it's too early to call for me. Oh, and an actual kiss between Kumiko and Reina would have been the icing on the cake.

Bubblegum Crisis was so on the right track but the casting and storyline issues that popped up near the end really hurt how it ended. On the upside, all of the side material (Hurricane Live concert videos, AD Police, etc.) is also really damn good so it ends up coming really damn close to perfect as a whole package.

Right now? I'm really really feeling Erased and Dimension W. It's way to early to call either of them as anything more than very promising starts but both are so damn good so far.

So overall I'd put Love Live as my closest to 10/10 I've ever seen even if I couldn't honestly call it a perfect 10.

Monogatari
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou
Baccano!
The Tatami Galaxy
Steins;Gate

I consider these five to be essentially flawless. There's nothing I could point to in them that I didn't like. However, my "top five" doesn't consist of all of these. There are a couple anime that I can see flaws in that I would still give a perfect 10 to, and I like a few of them even more than some of my "flawless" five. These are:

Little Busters! (My favorite anime)
Mirai Nikki
Welcome to the NHK
Toradora!
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
The Perfect Insider
AnoHana

So my number of "perfect 10" anime stands at 12 (and I anticipate Erased may join the list if it stays as good as it has been). Guess I'm easy to please?
