Have you ever been bitten by a dog....or any animal?

Quite common, but a bird yes. And then it pooped on my shirt.

I almost got bitten down by a German Shepherd once-- scared for life. I had teeth marks on my thigh though qu q. So close...

My cat likes biting for fun-- it hurts a bit...

A dog bit my sister on her face, luckily it was a "warning bite" so it was little and so she didn't get a scar from it. Surprisingly she isn't afraid of dogs. She was very young at the time. I think about 5 years old.

I've gotten bitten more times then I care to count. The most impressive scar I've got comes from an undersized bobcat, bitch launched herself from a tree when I was hunting deer with my long bow. She tried to kill me for reasons I never did find out, lucky for me she mostly got a mouthful of my jacket and very little meat. I managed to get rid of the jacket and a tiny chunk of meat. Drew the 10mm Colt Delta Elite I always carry with me when I hunt and put the entire clip into her.

Now I've got a four inch long scar down the centre of my stomach as a result.

Oh yeah? I was bitten by a baby cat.

My cockatiel bites my hand when I try to put it back in it's cage too early, it doesn't break the skin though.

Waiting in line for a rabies shot sucks doesn't it. Not to mention the staples down the old six pack.

Yes, by a German Shepard when I was hiking into Ruby Canyon on railroad right-of-way located along the Colorado--Utah border. I gambled and didn't go get a rabies shot. My ankle and upper limb got quite discolored for a while. I had to wear long pants in the middle of summer so as not to offend shippers at the warehouse docks.

I had to face that dog again when hiking out. This time I didn't turn my back on it and was armed with a fistful of railroad ballast and my belt (choke the pest if I had to struggle with it). She followed me for a mile, then turned away and went home.

I was bit by a dog several years ago in the leg. I know it was just protecting it's house (my friends'), but it made me a little nervous around dogs for a few years. I'm fine with them now.

I was once bitten in the leg by a girl drunk enough to think she was a dog .... Took weeks for the bruises to go away.

...Awesome? I guess. I don't know. However, I do know that the human mouth is one of the dirtiest out there. I would rather be bitten 10 times by a dog than once by a hooman.
