"white" or Hispanic has never been an majority... (or in these countries you mean?)

tbh I consider white anything from german Hispanic to just American white , -because its so mixed now-
also I was only talking about America, we have been called the majority for a very long time
I don't consider blacks, "black" its more brown
unless you are from like...Nigeria? Jordan?
in any case its just color which still seperates people, though it shouldnt

I never thought anyone would accuse Germany of being too sensitive. Still, it can't hurt if they can't speak the language. Some people, some guys mostly, can't seem keep their hands off other people, its just the nature of the beast that overrides their dubious judgement.

I was watching an interview the other day and I realized something. The interviewee describes women of "colour" as latinas, asians, blacks, etc., so basically everyone else in the world that has slightly darker skin than a typical caucasian. You'd think it's a simple point at aesthetics, but it was used in the context of racism. It's not the first time I've heard this. It seems like a frustrating drive to exclude white people, and I'm not sure why. What is the sense in creating a community of every other race save white? Isn't that just as prejudiced. They must be the historical devils. I respect everyone, and we're not going to erase racial tension until everyone agrees to stop segregating.

I agree. And a lot of my comments may seem racist (to people who throw the word around), because I don't pull punches, and I'm quick to acknowledge that there's a whole lot more finger-pointing at white people than there really needs to be. And I'll also point out when certain other cultures are causing their own problems...ESPECIALLY when they blame them on white people.

BUT, all I really want is the white guilt to end, the race card pulling to end, and for everyone to start measuring each other and themselves based on merit.

Sadly, "minorities" get a pass on a lot of racist views and opinions simply because white people have been backed into a corner with the guilt. Sorry, not me, I call it as I see it.

I agree 100%, but that kind of mentality often gets you labelled as racist. I'd like to be uncaring about it, but the ignorance frustrates me.

Not a single nation in the world is innocent of racism, sexism, or a past in slavery. I'm tired of hearing about it. The most ridiculous and fervently propagated excuse I hear lately is "It can't be racism if it's not founded on an institutional level." No, I'm pretty sure that this institution protects you from hate crimes just as much as I, or any other individual. We are not a perfect people, and we certainly don't have a perfect system. Never in our history will people in power be completely free of corruption, and I'm positive racism against any society will always exist; However, using that minority of prejudiced and backwards people to justify your discrimination against an entire race isn't anywhere near logical.

Even if it where true and one person said something hateful towards you. So what? Yeah, they're an asshole and they'll probably be labelled as such. This is such a generation of intolerant pussies. They can't see anything of the nastiness the world inevitably harbors and deal with it. Someone else has to do something about it, so they take up arms. I'm not advocating racism, I'm just saying that those few times someone said something shitty to you doesn't mean you should immediately associate a negative connotation with that entire race. I've had people of every walk of life treat me like shit. So what. You move on. Real institutional racism should be eliminated. Do I think it exists in the US? No.

Now errrybody on CR gonna think the pale girl is racist. Lol.

No worries, I get that a lot.

Like you said, I've been treated like shit by someone of every race, color, religion, culture, gender, age, sexual preference, and political leaning.... at the end of the day, someone from each of those has also treated me with compassion, love, understanding, and courtesy.

Because.... they're all individual people.

But, no, there is NO established institutional racism, sexism, etc. in the US government. Just a few assholes on every side twisting things into the worst possible picture they can.

Forgive me, but I find European nations' struggle with refugees REALLY amusing.

It's not the first time, at least not for Germany, that we have this kind of problems and every time when we have to handle with a huge amount of refugees or immigrants everybody freaks out. I'm getting tired of this. The last time everybody went crazy people got killed, refugee camps were set on fire while the refugees were still in it. This is the first time I witness these kind of problems and I'm loosing my faith in humanity. Everytime when I'm watching a documentary about refugee problem in the 90's all I see (and especially hear) is the same sh*t I see today. I'm starting to ask myself wether we are just too stupid or just too lazy to educate ourselves.

But that's my point, really. America handles a shit-ton of immigrants every single day since its birth. And we catch tons of shit over petty things. But you guys can't handle it in shot spurts. It isn't that you suck. I mean, we don't get snow often in the south, so when we do, everything shuts down. In the north, they keep on rolling.

But that's just it, isn't it. We DO handle our shit. We're doing great handling immigration, in comparison to nations without experience. So, get the hell off our backs with the insults that are directly related to cultural problems. Maybe?

See my point, yet?

Uhm, I've never said something else ;). We're not talking that much about immigration in the USA here because most people don't think that there's a problem. Of course we are talking about Donald Trump and his wall but immigration in the USA is not a bis subject here.

That's naive. My father was, among other things, a religiously fanatical racist, (trust me on this mmkay) so I know it's a thing. That, and a lot of neighborhoods in inner city ghettoes and scattered throughout rural america, esp. in the south. It's less visable now, but it still exists, more underground and and tight-knit. I think all races have racists, and everyone's been exposed to/know someone that is racist. But its a choice, you choose your preference, just like you can choose whether to change your thinking. That's what happened between now and the fifties, people realized it was stupid to segregate based on skin colour. Tensions still exist, sure, there will always be a resistance for anything that runs deep, and unscrupulous arguments made its natural and thus right and such, but with the now over 41.7 million black people in the US, 13.2% of the US Population[/] , that argument today is irrelevant with that number.

So about the water that one has to come over? (more or less controlled amount)
and amount, space/people to handle it, and how do you guys support or help (with education and such or nothing like that at all, right?)

In this day and age the "water" is a minor obstacle. And we have a slew of benefits for legal immigrants, such as tax breaks on businesses and scholarships, etc. They exist, for legal immigrants.
