Yes, I was eating some a few seconds ago. Yummy. I'm weird.
When is there ever "clean" snow?... (you could say even that from the skies are not that clean)
And never eat snow on the ground, god knows what it contains...

Since its snow its maybe much dirter then most people think, and a good reason as to why not eating it.

I know but it's still yummy.

No. I'm not a clean freak or anything but I still generally don't eat anything from/off the ground xD

Snow by itself idk, but it's a delicious thing to make good snow ice cream. My mother used to make it all the time, lol. allrecipes.com/recipe/24944/snow-ice-cream-ii/‎

In a large bowl, whisk milk, sugar, vanilla and salt together until combined. Go scoop up some fresh (clean!) snow, and immediately stir it into the milk mixture until you reach your desired consistency. Top with sprinkles or other ice cream toppings if desired.

Not taken from off the ground, usually the top layer off reasonably thick (and clean) snowfall , like from the roof of your car, etc. There isn't anything remarkably unhygienic from doing so if its fresh snowfall.

when i went skiing, a girl in line kept eating snow. she was probably thirsty or something (why didn't she go get some water instead...?)

Yes... It was kind of nothing special. In fact, even though it was definitely clean, it tasted kinda weird...

I have also, however, eaten icicles before, although it's a little unsanitary if you eat the bottoms.

If I did, it might've been when I was little, and my mom was probably there to stop me from doing so.
