Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

My Turn:

So, I was just wondering if you can like an anime series for no reason at all? Like you can't explain why you even like or love it because you just do. Is that weird or not? Has anybody ever felt that way?

Not having any particular reason to like something is still a reason, you know...

Yup, same here.

When I love a franchise or an anime I go into many reasons of why I love it.

For example. I could type a long response about how much I love hyperdimension neptunia and Noire/Uni... But that doesn't really relate to the question here so I'll keep my answer as No.

I dont think I've ever liked an anime without being able to identify a reason why.

It's pretty common and not weird but there's always a reason, whether or not you can articulate it. It might even be something psychological or whatever, but if you dug deep enough you could discover why. At the very least, "Because it's entertaining to me" has to be in there somewhere. If you didn't find it funny, exciting, interesting, or any number of possible positive describing words -- even a single one -- you wouldn't like it, and I think you could find something good to say about it that could serve as a reason.

It depends on how you define "reason." There are reasons you can explain and ones you can't. Personally my philosophy is if it makes you feel good watching it, that is reason enough. But that in itself does not count as a solid, explainable reason. A reason would be something more like "I think it's important to protect the environment and this anime touches on that subject a lot and makes me think about our planet and what we are doing to it."

Oh course it is.

It makes us question your "loyalty" to anime
