I don't understand people who always have to have a reason for every single thing that doesn't involve reasoning

There is a reason to everything, so maybe you just don't know how to explain it. Even if the only thing you like about it is so small... it's something and there's a reason as to why. You don't do things for no reason.

Like, if you were to pull aside an animal and ask it why it is doing whatever you catch it doing at the time, it may not even know why but there is a reason. If it did know how to use the human language you speak..... it probably couldn't really answer the question because it does what it does instinctively. You however are more intelligent than that so you should be able to understand your reasons and be able to explain them to yourself and others in time if you tried to actually figure it out

Trigun is still one of my favorite anime. I've seen plenty of anime that I would even admit are better , but there's something special about Trigun that I can't quite translate adequately. The characters, the music, the nostalgia. It wasn't quite the first anime I got into, but it was the one that triggered my love for anime. But back in 2002-2003, anime wasn't quite as popular & prominent as it is now. I mean, it wasn't some underground anomaly, but it was pretty hard & rare to find other anime fans outside of a message board. Back in the mid 90's it was probably next to impossible in the States. But to offer my two cents, I don't think it's weird at all.

Either you like something or you don't care much for it, or you just don't like it. Example, not everyone is going to like fruits basket or kill la kill. They're just not. TG for diversity.

If someone can't explain why they like something so much, it's probably not that they can't explain it, but rather that there are so many reasons that they don't know where to start. So, they take the lazy route and say, "I don't know. I just like it."

It's normal.

It's not uncommon to be unable to specify why you love or hate and anime series, but your feelings and opinion are just as valid as everyone else's.

There are definitely reasons why you like/love it, but they don't immediately come to mind in a way that makes them easy to describe.

Only some kind of freak wouldn't know why they like something

There's always a reason you just need to think it over enough.

Nah. It's not weird. I'm sure if I took enough time to think about it I could find a reason to give though.

Kinda? I guess. There's usually a reason behind everything. People will say there isn't, but if you look hard enough there has to be some underlying thing.

I don't know.

Nope. Some of my favorite animes I can't think of a logical reason for why i like them. Some of the best ones are like that

Nope, it's not unusual at all and that goes for anything in life. Sometimes you just like stuff because you like it. It doesn't have to matter why.

I think I have reasons why I like/dislike pretty much everything I watched. Some I enjoyed subjectively more than they were worth objectively (imo), but that doesn't mean I don't have reasons for it...
