EDIT: I contacted customer support and they should be helping me fix this, but if you know something I can do let me know!

Whenever I put my card info in it keeps saying this card has already been used to get a free trial, but I just got this card and I know I haven't used it. I tried to just go straight to a premium membership but it keeps giving me an error. I'm using a debit card, so could that be the problem? Is there a way to fix this?

It looks like you figured it out? You appear to be a Premium Member to me.

Customer support gave me the free trial, but I'm not sure if I can use my card yet or not

I am having the same problem. I have been a member for 10 years now and when my account was set to renew it apparently failed, I tried to purchase again and it said I was ineligible because I already was a premium member or had a free trial. I tried through Paypal and got the same result.
I contacted support and they told me to go to the buy an account page and get it there. I got the same result and emailed them a screenshot and have not had a reply in a week.

I've been having this problem with subscribing since it initially started in November, last year. I've been buying 1 month gift thingies up until now, and I'm just getting sick and tired of it. It doesn't work in any way. Doesn't matter if it's PayPal or my Mastercard. I know for a fact it's not a problem on my end, since it's always been working before, and they cancelled my subscription when it first happened. Besides, I have more than enough money for it, and the bank didn't do anything.

To that end, I'm not gonna use Crunchyroll until this gets fixed.

Nets A/S, the de-facto monopolist credit card handler in Denmark, is blocking our transactions for unknown reasons. We've tried to reach out to them, but have not received any answers except for automatic mails.

Oh, thank you for clearing that up. It makes much more sense now. Since it's not your fault, then I don't see any reason not to use the gift option. I'd love it if there was a way for you to keep me updated in this matter.

I just finished talking with my bank a while ago, and the support told me that Nets have blocked Crunchyroll because of high risk of fraud.

I was having problems paying a recurring subscription of my own. So I decided to contact my bank since there was nothing wrong with the information I put in, nor with my card.

Considering the multiple ridiculous security issues they've refused to address and the fact that at least one state Attorney General's office in the US has had to contact them to get them to issue refunds, not to mention that they're still falsely claiming "Cancel online anytime"... I wish I were surprised.

I have not had any problems myself (yet). Though I have seen the problems other users have had on the forums (including those that got hacked). And to be honest, I can understand why Nets decided to do it. Though at the same time, if they want to be able to exersize such effects, they should have better ways for international companies to contact them (which they don't, as far as I can see on their websites :/)
