I got a Roku that is capable of working with my older model tv (no HDMI) this last Christmas. Up till not it has worked great. But as of a week ago it says Playback interrupted and that because of an unexpected error the app cant continue. I did some looking into and noting i try is working. I have only been a premium member for about a month.

So far i have tried

- unplugging roku
- deleting and reinstalling that App
- a complete Roku reboot
- changing the video quality settings

and im soooooo tired of signing in over and over again and it not working.

I cant get a single video to play on it and i cant cast using the Android app ether.

If anyone else has had this problem and fixed it please aid me.

If anyone of the support staff sees this please help me. I really want to keep my membership but if this continues i will cancel.

You aren't alone. We're having random interruptions on episodes too. Typically without warning. Some shows work fine, others stall out.

No problems with Netflix or Funimation.

It seems at least for me that the display setting was the issue with mine. Of course i have my roku 2 hooked up via HDMI, for a while mine was doing the same thing playback interrupted error but as soon as i changed the setting to 1080p it worked. If your roku has an HDMI port try to use another tv that has HDMI and see if it works.

I can't say I'm glad im not the only one because this sucks. And I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's been 30 days and I still can't use my roku. I tried it on my boyfriends hdmi roku and it worked. So now I'm thinking it's just the old school version that has the problem. I also think it's because it's trying to play too high res. I did change that setting on line. I did not work but I'm thinking that is the bug.
Still no answer has come my way from crunchyroll but I will let people now if I hear something.

It's September and I'm experiencing the same issue. Are there other's that still have this problem?
