There is none. Embrace the absurdity of life and its inevitable death.

Thank you for all your comments and even if there is another forum about it it's always good to look back at important issues and not avoid them or hate on them.

To enjoy oneself.

Making sure that I wear my adult nappies underneath my pants in case I happen to die and poop and pee in my sleep.

The meaning of your life is to find out what the meaning of your life is. :3

Paradox aside, every time I think about "what is the meaning of life," I can't help but think "why does there have to even be a meaning?"

I mean, sure, we can answer HOW we came to be (although most of us will not want to picture our parent's getting it on in our heads), and give that as our raison d'etre, and still be accurate. However, when most people ask the question, they're not asking for "how is it that you came to exist," but instead "for what reason do you keep on existing?"

And for that... I like being alive, I guess. I mean, for me, it's that uncomplicated.

Not so long ago the answer would have been simple for me. I lived and breathe, even ached for the fight. To wake up every day and strap on my boots and sling Cassandra over my shoulder and take out a few more camel jockeys. That was the only thing I lived for after both Sophie and Dad's deaths. To make the world a safer place with the skills I had earned.

But now that my whoreson chicken shit countrymen decided to lose their balls and pull out of the fight I really don't know. Some days I want to spit on my Canadian citizenship and immigrate to a country that still knows the real threat out there. I just don't know what's stopping me nor why I even think life is worth living.

Maybe it's just a stubborn determination to want to fight for the country both my Dad and Sophie loved and I once did to. Maybe the hope my country will come to it's senses and recommit to the fight instead of insulting the memory of the fallen is the only thing I breathe for and stay here for.

i think i'm still making mistakes in life about the way I live so I don't realize a valid meaning of life yet, hopefully some day I'll find calmness. right now it is to find happiness through doing what you enjoy doing and not trying to be to wise while doing it.. and also like what op said.. to constantly search for happiness without a finish line, otherwise you've programmed your happiness to end at some point I think
