Some old ass Nokia that made a great paperweight, took damage like a brick and might as well have a future as a nightstick.

I had a little Tracphone.

But my first phone that I picked out was an LG Lotus. It was a cool little phone. I joked that it wasn't a smart phone but it played one on television.

It was a flip phone, but it had a full QWERTY keyboard. The screen was big enough to read and watch stuff on enjoyably, but flipped up for space saving. It had internet access so you could watch some videos, check the weather or email, read news or web pages, but wasn't quite potent enough to get get apps on. It was a very nice phone. Also, I was the only person I knew who had one and everyone was like 'what the hell is that phone?'. I had it for like 5 years so the little bugger really stood the test of time.

I eventually upgraded first to a Samsung Galaxy S3 and then an S5.

This piece of ancient technology, or aptly named; The fridge.

This was around the time when the first pre-paid phones came on the market. (1998)

I didn't get a cell phone until I was 18 so I never rocked a flip phone or anything. LG optimus f3 is my current phone and I've loved it since the day I got it

The battery last for about a week.
In addition....

You raise a good point--I don't even remember charging it!
Hellllll yeah, I played the shit out of some Snake!
Also, I can roughly gauge how old people are by their familiarity with the word "citag."
