Hey everyone! So as a former SGV local, I'd definitely recommend Shin Sen Gumi Hakata Ramen in Rosemead, if any of you aren't familiar.. I've been going for almost 6 years now and the food is most definitely pshuuuuu-worthy. Draft Asahi, fully customized ramen bowls (everything from the viscosity of the broth, firmness of the noodles, to a slew of toppings), with $1.50 noodle refills to boot. The takoyaki and creamy croquettes are absolutely to die for, not to mention the authentic feel of the restaurant and attentive, friendly Japanese-speaking staff. Check it out on Yelp!

I'm totally up for a meet-up there. There's plenty of parking & seating room for groups, but be warned, you gotta show up at least 15 minutes before they re-open for dinner (6pm) to sign their guest list, the place fills up with locals pretty fast.

Their buffet-style shabu shabu restaurant in Monterey Park is great as well, but I've always been partial to the former!

I look forward to meeting some fellow CR members! Resuming binge-watch.
