Is it possible to love a show but really hate the fandom of that show?

Aren't you doing that? So the question becomes redundant.

Yes, of course it's possible. Just because you have one thing in common, it doesn't necessarily mean you are going to get along in everything else.

I would say yes. Some fandoms are really shitty.

I say yes. Something like that happens with me and a rock band, so it can happen in other forms of entertainment. I like some music by Radiohead and find them to be pretty talented, but I am really irked by a lot of their fans and many people feel the same way.

This is a stupid question. You should be ashamed for asking it.

Probably. Best not to follow fandoms too closely.

Evangelion comes to mind. I love Evangelion but some of the fans, especially north american fans are just weird, merchandise are also getting out of hand, from really cheap figurines to really hardcore exclusive stuff. The exclusive stuff is very cool I admit.

There have been many cases of "shitty fandom for good shows", a more interesting question would be: "Is it possible to like a fandom and dislike the show?"

That actually happened to me. I used to be into this one youtuber long ago and hung out on his forums and fan chat rooms. Now I dislike him quite a bit but still regularly hang out with the fandom, as I have made some friendships there.
