that's a really good strategy for losing customers. good job Comcast.

The thing is, in some places they have a monopoly. I lived in one of those places until 2012. Comcast sucked. Thank God for AT&T u-verse!

Yeah, I have a friend that has to deal with Comcast and they're not too happy. Her city even made a deal with Comcast granting it monopoly for expanding internet infrastructure(none too great a job it would seem many times), and this seems to be a common practice.

I hope I never have to deal with it. Capitalism, like it or not, is a threat to the internet. Let us hope democracy can keep it in check from destroying what we hold sacred like net neutrality.

I couldn't stream any videos...even YouTube videos. I would have to pause the video, leave it paused for about 20 minutes, and then watch it. Terrible...

Sometimes I get irritated with my internet, on bad days Crunchyroll just stutters and I cannot watch more then two or three minutes for it to stop and buffer an entire two seconds, then play five seconds, then stop three, then....

BUT, if I get up early enough or stay up late enough, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ALL THE INTERNETS FOR ME

Internets like Comcasts that has this idea of memory caps and making people pay more for bandwidth suck and need to be done away with. Living out in country boonies Texas, I am limited to the choice of like, two or three services, and all of them except one have caps on bandwidth. No thanks, rather something slightly slower, but not pay out the wazoo for hitting an invisible cap because your computer decided to update.

why does comast think everyone still uses the internet like grandma does and keeps living in the past and refuses to move forward? To me this seems the incorrect way to run a business they should be investing in new technology's and moving towards developing their own internet based tv service. I also blame Canada for this to a large part of this is because the Canadian ISPs got away with it so now they are doing this in the USA now to. Talk about moving backwards and in the wrong direction

It sucks that in America a lot of internet service providers have monopolies in certain areas. It allows them to pull crap like this.
