Hi.

I would say hi is my favorite word. Had to think on it a bit, but it is a word of beginings and sharing and some times a word of endings. I use it when meeting an animal for the first time. "Hi, pup!" or "Hi, lil' one, what are you doing in my yard." (Family of rabbits lives under a neighbor's shed) Invariably, it is the first word I say when meeting a person. "Hi, How are you?" or "Hi, I am Greg. Nice to meet you."

Hi was the first word that came to mind while my first love and I gazed into each others eyes. I was thinking of all those sappy warm comfy thoughts, You know the ones. How can this person be so wonderful? Why could they possibly care for me? How lucky I am. Those goofy thoughts and many of thier friends. And is was like meeting her for the first time all over. "Hi," is what I said. Silly, out of place, but not so bad.

When saying goodbye to my Dad, I looked into the casket and began with, "Hi, Pop." I really did say Pop. It was a thing we had, I'd say Pop, and he would call me Kid.

Hi instantly evokes so many emotions for me. So very many of them are positive sharing moments that I cannot help but smile after saying it.

Hi, everyone.
