So I'm 17 and a full-on HHKV, and I really am starting to feel like there's something wrong with me. I've never been in any sort of relationship and at times I feel really jealous of others and at other times I get depressed. I feel like I've missed out on something neccessary. Is being a virgin really as bad of a thing as I think, especially when you're a guy?

i found this online

I'm 22 and in the same predicament. I feel like it sucks but since I don't know the feeling of not being a virgin so I can't say from experience that it would feel any better to not be one. It's only logical that you would feel less lonely if you were in a relationship though. So if I were not a virgin but was still single and lonely i'm not sure if I would feel better. At the very least thoughts like "well since i'm a virgin at this age I have no chance ever and it's clear that no girl will ever like me" wouldn't occur because you could think "well since one girl was willing to have sex with me odds are there are others out there that would be interested in me". So while directly being a virgin isn't a bad thing, indirectly it can lead to lots of negative thinking and make you feel pretty bad about yourself, especially since at age 22 i'm in an overwhelming minority.

I've heard true testimony from those around me who lost their virginity early, and most of them said they wish they'd preserved their virginity until marriage. There's nothing wrong with being a virgin, but the media would convince you otherwise, trying to convince you that it's a societal norm.

In high school, there's the sniggering temptation to think that "Virgin" means "Doesn't know'.

As you become a little more experienced in life, you realize it can mean "Doesn't get", or often, "Doesn't care".

It has a totally different connotation for men vs women. For men, being a virgin is more often than not, a negative factor, where for women it is sometimes a positive factor. I mean I ultimately lost mine through a liquor fueled campaign, aka party and not through an actual relationship soo, maybe it means different to others.. but post virginity, It's not that big of a deal I guess, I could go another 10 years of nothing and be fine.

yeah, also that masturbation works a bit different on either side.

either try being close for a good amount of years, or try to understand "more" with having sex maybe not the best way but its easier and you could learn about sensitivity and be a bit more "closer".

nothing wrong with it as both says too early and too late can feel bad and do bad as in "I don't know how to respond anymore sexaully because of this late, and don't get what/when to do about sexual things" or "Can't stop thinking about it, messing up my thoughts and makes me unstable" and such.

as one who never done it could be harder and more depressed about things sexaully (and could be a very good thing to have sex atleast once to get all this out of the system) but agian having this addiction or how it becomes harder to look forward (maybe since you have to deal with a relationship, etc)

as you see some guys get more calm and reason atleast know what they can do with the girls (depends on how the first time was, hopefully not with a "slut" that made them think its easier or how you should do it, so have it with a more shy girl helps ALOT for some guys)

I'm 21 and working my way toward Wizardry.

I've never been in a relationship before because of shyness. I'm pretty good looking (or so my family tells me) but unless a girl makes the first move, I will probably never be in a relationship/have sex.

Everyone is born that way. If people want to shame virgins, they are pretty much human filth.

like depression is a big and bad issue to deal with.
and that the more lonely guys seem to like more and more extreme stuff and then after that having a hard time "dealing" with women in general and sometimes it could just lean too dangerous/extreme as this guy on here that knew about one that got choked out so that the guy there could have accepted more the extreme sides and this how things end badly, and in general has to do something before that so they could know more about women in general.
