Anyone have experience with loge seating at Microsoft Theater? Trying to find pictures of the view from there but everything I've found has been for orchestra seating.

Looking for some advice. It'll be my first time at Anime Expo, so I'm curious how the guest autograph process works. If anyone could give some insight that would really help (such as how early would one have to be in line to get a chance?, etc).

For the guest of honor autographs, you'll have to line up early in the morning. Like I remember when I naively tried to pick up a ticket for Ayako Kawasumi's autograph at 9, the booth was out of almost everything. And it opens at 8. For guests that other companies bring like how NIS is bringing ZUN, you'll have to ask at that company's booth how they handle it probably. Last year Mangagamer gave Ryuukishi07 autograph tickets to people who bought $50 worth of merch and that was displayed on a sign at their booth.

its over !!!!!! i can rest !!!!!! Soooooo tired .... I need sleep , really long sleep

from my last minute car repair , event tickets , merchandize ....I must have spend over 1300 in 4 days kill me now ....

There were so many thing annoying especially the autographs ....

but my highlight was the ANISONG Matsuri , saw seiyuu Tatsuhisa Suzuki band OLDCODEX perform his first US appearance I couldnt believe I was hearing those songs live....I use some of his songs for my cycling exercise...but Tatsu was forgetting he was in the US and spoke Japnese fast ...I had to concentrate to understand him LOL I kept saying.... what word was that aaarrrrggggg

and JAM singing the One Puch Man theme !!!! The Super Japan Anisong concert was full house in the Microsoft theater!!

.Seeing one of my favorite seiyuu Suwabe san only a few feet from me talk with that sexy voice and I could hear his voice and not thru the speakers.... and surprise singing of Lonely Nights song in Space Dandy was a big treat !!!! His DJ personallity was awesome...he is really good and a natural with the audience.....I love him more now and ever !!!!!

Too many Industry guest .... my head was spinning

The weather was very mild this year ....thank you !!!So many cosplayers , so many people ...crazy !!!!!!!!

Tatsuhisa was awesome..almost lost his voice in the end ... he yelled ARIGATOU without the mic... . and FLOW was a treat at the end singing Fighting Dreamers and everyone in NOVO was singing that song so loud....awesome I LOVED IT !!!

I almost forgot to mention, I was in a panel for seiyuu Kakehara Tetsuya and he is definitely different since he did not grew up in Japan.Got his autograph ..yey !! I got one !!!! and was able to greet and thank him in German and he replied in German

This was my first Anime Expo. I wasn't sure what to expect to, but by the end of it, I was blown away!

There were so many people and events. I wasn't sure what to explore first: panels, exhibition hall, artist alley, screenings, or cosplay gatherings? I initially planned to attend numerous panels but then realized that I didn't enjoy spending most of the day in lines. Next year, I'll aim to attend only one panel max per day; unless there are two that I really, really want to attend in the same day. Of the panels, Dodger's Adult Weeb panel was the most fun. That panel also had HappiLeeErin and two other guests. After watching their YouTube videos for so long, it was a bit weird seeing them in person.

My favorite part was meeting the cosplayers. I had a fun time trying to recognize the cosplayed characters, and I think I recognized about 40-50%. I meet some particularly awesome cosplayers of Shirayuki, Shinobu, Galko (surprised to see this one), Mega Digimons, Gintoki and many others. I also saw most of the Hunter X Hunter and Osomatsu casts. Of all the cosplays, this one was my favorite:

I was quite surprised at the Overwatch representation; though a lot of those people might just getting ready for Blizzcon. I saw all the characters except for Bastion, Winston, Reinhardt and Torbjorn. D.Va was particularly popular. From what I saw, she was the most represented character not just on Overwatch, but from the entire con. There were at least 30 different D.Va cosplayers. The artist alley was also filled with D.Va, Widowmaker, Tracer and Mercy fanarts.

Speaking of the artist alley, wow that was nuts. It felt like I was in a jam packed subway car. I heard the AC wasn't fully on in the first two days, so I feel sorry for the artists and con goers who experienced that. I bought a few item on Day 3 and didn't splurge until Day 4; when the congestion lessened dramatically. For an overall cost, I think I spent around $800 for that weekend.

My only real regrets were not cosplaying enough (only 1 out of 4 days) and not meeting Naoshi Arakawa. Arakawa is the mangaka for Your Lie in April. He had a panel and two autograph sessions. Which I unfortunately missed since I didn't arrive until late into Day 2. To ease the pain, I bought a ton of Your Lie in April merchandise and fanart including this one:

The one day that I cosplayed was also the most fun day. It was so exciting to have someone ask to take a picture of you or people ask you to (especially if from the same show) take a picture with them. Next year, I'll aim for multiple cosplays!
