All the time recently. It̀s like that little girl from the crucible called me a witch and now everything people think is wrong is my fault....

Yup, it's just part of how we keep work entertaining.

Story of my life. Everything that went wrong at school was my fault. Everything that went wrong at work was my fault. Everything that goes wrong for my family is my fault.

Yeah. But not all the time.

Yes. I was used as a scapegoat for something a manager did.

It was not a good day, and I found employment elsewhere.

Place I used to work at a few decades ago: upon my exit I learned my file contained 3 complaints.....chewing too much Big Red gum, showed up 2 minutes late 1 day, supposedly belittled someone about an article written in a British tabloid clearly meant to be used as birdcage liner instead of reading material.

the Big Red gum....I was a computer drafter working in an industrial setting. My workstation was next to the aisle, main corridor. My trash can was situated directly under my desk. The gum was always covered in wrapper when tossed. Very stressful job where gum was an alleviater.

2 minutes late....no excuse, I was 2 minutes late. Never mind the 70-80 hour work weeks working on architects' dreams on 2-D that had to be converted into absolutes in 3-D with product(s) not designed for their job.

belittling a co-worker.......this is what comes when 3 of you are college grads and the remainder are high school, no school. Nothing wrong with education levels as I see life experience as worthy as educational opportunity. Someone in an adjoining department made a comment about girls being imprisoned in an East Communist country over ???? I twisted their declarative sentence using dry wit and wondered aloud "squirrels?" Can't squirrels escape by sliding in between the jail bars? Why would someone in an East Communist bloc go to all the trouble of incarcerating squirrels in a time out area designed for human retention? The people in my department saw the humor and laughed. Oh, well.
