What's your diet?
Posted 2/20/08
Eh, rice breakfast, lunch &dinner. But I've cut down. I only eat rice once a day now.. I dont eat breakfast, not bcos I dont want to but bcos I dont have time in the morning to. I eat junkfood but moderately, not overdoing it or anything.

Well, anyways, if i do have money... i think the best diet goes like this
when i'm home here in Asia (philippines)
RICE DIET... Rice can make you gain lot's and lot's of weight!

When i'm home in Europe (Norway or Sweden)
I try to stay away from POTATOES ...!!

I'm really lazy and i dont like to exercise, so instead i do this:
Every morning: play some nice music (rnb, hiphop, pop, or pop rock) and then DANCE !!!

In the afternoon: just 50 sit-ups...

and of course... NO JUNK FOOD ... i don't really like them anyway...

Dancing and sit-ups are two forms of exercises. And aren't potatoes use for diet anyway???

But, Rice is indeed healthier than noodles. It gives you the energy you need to "exercise."

well, rice is healthier than noodles, yes. but i never said that i replace rice with noodles. i eat salad instead, u know, just some cabbage, corn, and cucumber. and no, potatoes are NOT for diet. absolutely not.
and yes, my "exercise" is effective. all you need to do is to keep it up. and NO FRUITS right after your meal.

You shouldn't need to diet because you shouldn't be overeating all the time.

But seriously, dieting is for lazy people. If you're lazy, don't complain about your weight.

On that note, dieting is useless for lazy people because even if they diet, they still won't be burning off any calories due to their inactivity. In fact, the only way for lazy people to lose any kind of weight would be to STARVE themselves. Unluckily for them, because they're so lazy their body will try to retain as many calories as possible b/c they're inactive AND starving so in the end, they will end up either gaining that weight back, or hitting a wall after losing only a few pounds.

So... work out, don't overeat, eat healthy whenever possible, and don't forget your vitamins and water.

P.S. If you're overweight for any other reason than laziness and or overeating, go see a doctor.

my diet
-stop drinking pop and coke
-eat 3 small meals a day and dont eat anything after 7 and exercise afterwards.
-no more chocolate bars or cookies

i always end up breaking all three of those rules

LOL! Yeah. I've done the same a few times.

On topic though. Mine is...

I do this 3-4 times a week, in my spare time.

Morning - A light, but somewhat filling breakfast does wonders for energy. NO EXTREMELY SWEET/FATTY/GREASY MEATS OR CONDEMENTS (They can make you feel groggy, sluggish and just plain slow. USE SPARRINGLY.)

Whole Grains: (You can live without protein, and be a sissy, but not without carbs. Here are a few I eat on a regular basis.)

low to sugarfree cereal(Filled with all types of vitamins, Recommened.), toast(Wheat. Also, some breads contain Flax Seed Oil which is great for shedding pounds.), oatmeal(good source of vitamins.)

Low Fat Dairy: egg(Great for protein, but very high in cholesterol, no more than 1-2 a day. 5 a week tops.), 2% lowfat/skim milk(Great source protein and calcium, need I say more.)

Fruits/Vegetables: (You know the usual suspects.)

apples(My favorite and a good source of fiber), oranges/ orange juice(Vitamin C. Some OJ has calcium in it too.), bananas(Not big on nutrients, but nice and filling... PLEASE, no funny comments/questions folks.), cranberries/cranberry juice(Good source of vitamin C, also has antioxidants which help cleanse your digestive system.), strawberries(Almost no good sides, except... tasting good. Say "NO" when coupled with ice cream.), celery(Again, not big on nutrients. BUT you actually burn more calories eating it than you get from eating it. Efficiency over flavor.), tomatoes(robust and delicious, not much else.), carrots(Vitamin A incarnate, can help eye functionality, not improve it. Rabbits love to eat their green leafy ends, and sometimes the carrot too.)

After 30-45 minutes to let the food to digest. I do some stretches and get started with some light cardio exercise...

10 mile bike ride(It take about 20-25 min)

Brisk paced jog on treadmill(30 minutes)

It feels good to feel your heart racing and blood flowing. Okay, that's it for cardio for now. Next up is muscle strengthening... But first, lunch.

Lunch -

NO POP/SODA, OR OTHER DRINKS LOADED WITH SUGAR. (They have alot of calories and cause you to become dehydrated easier)

Water: (H20, life itself, though a bit bland in taste, drink up. It's health benefits are numerous... It helps maintain a steady metabolism, which in turn helps you keep from putting on pounds. Helps cool the body and mind, keeping various bodily systems functioning properly as they should.

Meat: (Can't live without it, well at least I can't. Along with focused strength training and adequate sleep, it helps build muscle. Almost all of it tastes great, but too much now and it will make you regret loving later... Such a cruel, but delicious mistress. Here are some of my suggestions.)

tuna(In water, for the lowest fat content. Great for protein), pink salmon(A little fatty, but good for protein, plus Omega3 fatty acids help melt the fat. A bit high in cholesterol and calories, eat small proportions.), shrimp(Great protein, but really high in cholesterol. Though tasty, eat carefully if fried. Also, yes, I do believe shrimp have claws!), chicken(Low fat, excellent for protein. Though tasty, outter skin should be removed because it has a good amount of fat and cholesterol. Preperation methods should be influenced by diet. I personally like mine baked or sauted. The breast is divine.), steak(Damn, nothing invigorates me more than a juicy, bloody, rare New York Strip... Self proclaimed, God of meats and of my tastebuds. Pinnacle of protein and iron, but also of cholesterol, circulatory and heart related problems. The rarer it is, the more nutrients remain. Treat yourself, every once in a while.)
Okay, the usual 30-45 digestion period, some arm stretches and it time to get crackin'.

3 sets of 20 forearm curls(10 minutes, 1 minute of arm relaxation period between sets.)

I'll continue the rest in a bit...

potatoes ... not for diet? why not?

"The potato diet may help you lose weight and stay in shape. However, remember that what`s good for others may not be good for you, and seek medical advice before you start a diet." ----http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/20310

And what's with salads... I never understood why people eat salad. Some of the girls told me it's "good eating."
So, i tried it and threw up right after. I just couldn't eat it. I just said: "Where the HELL is the MEAT?!!!?"
