Yeah, that's pretty much the whole list of [consumer] media boxes that run on Android TV, but don't forget the lines of Sony, Sharp, and Philips smart TVs. Those are running on Android TV as well (meaning they can also run this app now).

Wasn't the Samsung TV App dropped due to low interest in watching Crunchyroll directly on the TV? Why then does this support other brands and not Samsung?

Samsung Smart TVs run on Tizen, their own OS. It's not compatible to Android TV.

It'd be so sweet if you could sort something for my Samsung TV. A lad can dream.

Still no Fire TV support, huh?

Bummer. That nice-looking UI for a FireTV app would be wonderful. Until then, I guess it's running CR through the Kodi plugin.

Now if only there was a CR app that I could install on my Kindle Fire HD. Alas, we do not live in such a fantasy world.

Now that they're done with the Android TV app, hopefully they can start focusing on a Universal Windows 10 app!

I just bought an Amazon Fire TV box and would like support added for that device as well. I hear Funimation will soon support it as well.

First, be sure your TV is running Android TV, no the Sony smart OS

Just go to the Google PlayStore and install the app

BTW, I like the background playback, looks great

Why does Android TV, and for that matter every platform EXCEPT the Apple TV get a nice looking CrunchyRoll app? The new Apple TV is just an iOS device capable of running anything you throw at it, and it it gets an app which consists of white text on a black screen with the occasional tiny thumbnail. It's absolutely hideous and very obviously phoned in.

Not good enough CrunchyRoll.
