I'm quite impressed that you know about good old Tiresias. Don't tell me you also recently decided to give Antigone another read.

The whole play would've been better if it were illustrated in Creon if you ask me.

Was Tiresias the blind seer played by the Second Doctor in "Jason & the Argonauts"? Oh, wait, no, that was Phineas.

Tiresias was the one played by Tony Randall in "Seven Faces of Dr. Lao", although they confused him with Apollonius of Tyana. Always get my Harryhausen movies mixed up with the George Pals.

As for ancient Greek puns, I could dig up the old one about the ancient Athens tailor, who asked a customer who walked in with a pair of pants, "Euripides?", and the customer replied, "Yeah, Eumenides?", but like the cartoon says, that WOULD officially be turning into my dad.
