Mom my is a a good cook until she decides to try and experiment with different things. I guess it's a little easier now that all brother, sisters and I have moved out of the house. She can try different things with it just being her and my dad. But, when we have family dinners if she tries something different it usually doesn't turn out very well. But otherwise she is a very good cook (by experimenting I mean supplementing certain ingredients out for other ones).

I thought my mother was a pretty good cook back in the days when I ate her food regularly. These days when I have something she's cooked it's only "meh". She seldom cooks at all now though, since all her kids are grown.

Of course, I seldom cook either; when I can just drink and order pizza, or eat out at one of the many local restaurants.. I really ought to at least get in the habit of using a crock pot more often, because how else is a single, full-time worker supposed to find time to cook?

Well my mom disowned me years ago,but she was a bad cook,as well as a bad excuse for a mom. She didn't think that my allergy to milk would go past my infancy,so she would cover everything in either butter or cheese,so living with her I constantly had stomach problems. Unlike her,I'm a great cook and I don't use cheese or butter if I can help it. I cook nearly all the meals at me and my dad's house,so I've gotten pretty good at cooking. To tell the truth,I've sort of grown up to be self reliant.
